I installed it for 2-3 hours, because I didn’t know that after installation, it needs to be adjusted so that it opens all the way and closes. And I first assembled it, it doesn’t open the car, I tried it again, it doesn’t close. In general, there was a lot of swearing.

In the end, I assembled everything correctly and everything works perfectly. This work is not very rewarding, of course. And after I took off the door card and put it back on, it now began to creak.

Well, I went and bought it, I also wanted to buy a silent lock, but they were only sold in pairs (I already have one on the passenger side. So I limited myself to only the mechanism. But there was an ambush, the bolts that held the external latch and the internal mechanism did not want to unscrew (and mine there were stupid stars) no matter how I tried to unscrew the hexagon with a star hexagon, it stupidly broke. Then I tried to knock it out with an impact screwdriver, also an ass. I started sawing out the cap with a grinder - crap. After removing the lock and buying a new one (by the way, there were no bolts, and then I had to go to the other end of the city), I began to unhook the rods from the internal mechanism. 1. remove the black washer-retainer from the rod on the opener in the cabin 2. the rods too, if they have not already been removed. 3. (I forgot something) 4. transfer everything from the old to the new (don’t forget about the central locking, I forgot about it and again got the mechanism...) 5. collect everything as best we can... 6. adjust the thrust. By the way, when I took out the mechanism for the second time, I spat and pulled it out in the place with the rod on the interior opener, it was bent, but then I returned it to its place and straightened it.

This was what awaited me next:

I cleaned off the rust, (with a drill with an attachment) I smeared plasticine on the whole car (supposedly it also stops rust), and I didn’t just smear it, but I sealed all the lower holes (3 pieces) and poured a little zinc into the door. I'll drive for a couple of weeks and see what happens. By the way, remember when you wrote that you hurt your finger? So, when I treated it with zinc, it got on my sore finger (I knocked my nail a little off), damn howled and rushed around for half an hour to remove this crap, began to suck it out with my mouth and float away (like poison), damn this taste made my hungry stomach feel nauseous and even almost vomit... In short, if there are wounds on the skin, do not let zinco get on them.
