Replacing fuel filters or how I switched to quick releases

In general, this entry should not have been, since I planned to fit everything into one, where I changed the oil.
And it should have been called in the spirit of “TO 340 thousand”. I fully hoped that I wouldn’t have to change the valve cover gasket and the cover itself, since I was too lazy to do it, but I had to. And because of this filter, I didn’t have time to change it - it got dark. And then it rains, then hails, then snows, then hell. As a result, today is the first day when the day off and the weather coincided in such a way that you can do what you had planned for a long time. On my last visit to the service, I was going to change the fuel filter, among other things, but I was able to unscrew it only on one side, and for fear of breaking the pipes, they did not change it. Then I decided that I’d had enough of enduring it, and I had to do it like in normal cars. For this we purchased:

and so as not to turn into a Lada

Well, a friend in the fret pedal store has 4 clamps to connect the whole thing.

The last and only time I changed the filter was in the fall of 2016, or 2022, I don’t remember.

We press “F” and pay attention, take a freshly purchased blade for a hacksaw for metal, and go to sawing.

Saying to ourselves, “Saw, Shura, they are brass,” we are surprised to discover that they seem to be aluminum

Don’t pay attention to the wet spots, I just sprayed mosquito repellent under the car.

Next I decided to see how the hose actually fits into these fittings?

I figured out how the filter would stand and how many hoses I needed to cut to make everything fit. Accordingly, I cut it off, cleaned the ends of the tubes from what was stuck on them, sanded them with sandpaper, degreased them, and coated them with black sealant just in case.

I clicked the key to make the pump raise the pressure. I looked and it wasn’t dripping. Started it up, let it idle, still no dripping. I didn’t think about the filter mounting clamp at all, but oh well, maybe next time I’ll replace it. Now I have secured it with a tie, as it was before for who knows how many years.

All that's left is to change the diaper and it's done.

I changed the diaper 20 thousand ago, as well as the pump gasket. Unscrewed the pump and pulled it out

I put on a new one, but didn’t take a photo - I forgot. And before putting the pump back, I decided to see how things were going in the tank.

Only she got a little tired and she can no longer be inserted into the chip
