  7. Replace the new TF. The assembly process is performed in reverse order. Reconnect the fuel lines and secure them securely.   2. After dismantling, you will see the filter element, which has a special fitting. It is used to drain diesel fuel. Unscrew the fitting and place a container under it; some of the fuel will drain into it.
  3. Remove the fuel filter cover and wipe the device with a rag to remove dirt to prevent it from getting into the pipes. Afterwards the cover must be disconnected.
  4. Take a new TF and install it into the case. After installation, fill it with fuel. Make sure that the fuel has filled the entire space.

Removal

1. WARNING: Do not smoke or carry a lit cigarette or open flame of any type when working on or near fuel-related items. In such situations, there are always highly flammable vapors present that can ignite. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury.

WARNING: Diesel fuel injection equipment is manufactured to very precise tolerances and with very close clearances. Therefore, it is especially important to maintain absolute cleanliness when working with these elements. Always install plugs in any open holes or lines.

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery.

NOTE: Fuel supply line connectors are painted white or are identified by a white rim. The fuel return line connectors are painted red or are identified by a red rim.

2. Disconnect the fuel filter supply and return lines.

3. Remove the fuel return line clamp.

4. Remove the fuel return line.

5. Remove the fuel filter.

  • 1. Press the clamp.
  • 2. To remove the fuel filter, pull it out.

6. Remove the fuel filter from the bracket.
