How to setup

You can start the car not only from the key fob, but also autostart the Alligator alarm system based on temperature or timer.
Using this option allows the device to operate automatically when the specified parameters are met. Before setting up autostart on the Alligator alarm using the specified data, you must enter the programming mode using the key fob. To do this, do the following:

  • Take the key fob and hold the service button F for two seconds.
  • After the transition, the screen glows and a melodic signal from the key fob appears.

If you manage to start the engine, a running engine symbol is visible on the screen, and after 1.5 minutes the air conditioning/heating or other systems begin to operate.

By temperature

Setting up Alligator autostart based on temperature from the key fob requires several steps. The algorithm is like this:

Click on “*” and hold it for two seconds until a sound appears.

Release the key and click on the open lock symbol. Wait for the signal again.

Pay attention to the display. It should light up and a thermometer symbol will appear on the display.

The location depends on the signaling model.

  • Click on “*” once and look at the temperature parameter at the top right.
  • Click on the button and the key fob emits a short beep.

In this way, the Alligator is launched from the remote control. At the temperature set by the key fob, the system will have to start the engine. Note that to exit the mode you simply do not need to press any buttons.

By time

Now let's look at how to enable/program Alligator autostart from the key fob according to time. The action algorithm is as follows:

Press and hold "*" for two seconds. The key fob beeps and confirms entering the settings mode.

Click the button with the lock closed. A clock symbol appears on the screen, the turn signals flash once, and one beep sounds for the same amount of time.

Press “*” as many times as necessary to set the time. Each press produces a beep.

To exit programming mode, do not take any steps for 15 seconds.

Alligator security system models with auto start

Autostart is a function of remote control of the motor. Allows you to turn the engine on and off from a distance. The option is relevant in winter to warm up the engine. During the hot season, this function may also be useful if your car has air conditioning. By starting the engine in advance, you can sit in a cool cabin.

Let's consider 3 popular models with autostart function.

Model ALLIGATOR A-9

The model is equipped with a dual dialogue radio code DUPLEX DIALOG. This is an encryption protocol to protect data while being transmitted to the key fob. The radio code protects the system from hacking and provides full two-way communication.

The device has a high operating speed. In case of unauthorized hacking, the data will arrive on the communicator in 0.25 seconds. All information about alarms is stored in the module memory. There you can also find information about the state of the car alarm at one time or another.

ALLIGATOR C-3C

Improved version of previously released models. Suitable for any type of car. You can control the device via the Internet or using a mobile phone. To do this you need to connect the GSM module. It also allows you to track the location of the vehicle.

The radio channel is protected from hacking by a dynamic code. Range - 1200 meters.

ALLIGATOR C-5

Premium class device with liquid crystal key fob. For authorization, a narrow-frequency channel of 868 MHz is used. The range is from 2500 to 3000 meters, depending on the presence of interference. The frequency is twice the standard. This increases immunity to interference and ensures a continuous, clear signal.

The device is equipped with an immobilizer function. If an unauthorized start occurs, the device gives a signal and the electrical circuit is blocked.

Work options

The autorun function is used in several ways:

  1. Activation by pressing a key on the remote control. The motor starts after pressing a certain button. Range depends on model.
  2. Autostart based on temperature. Select the temperature at which the engine will start. Relevant in winter. The motor will be kept active and will not freeze.
  3. Turning on the engine by timer. Set the time based on your work schedule. The engine will be warmed up when you leave, and you can drive right away.

Advantages

Autostart models have a number of advantages:

  • Automatic engine start. Allows you to prepare transport for the trip in advance.
  • Remote alarm setting Alligator. You can change autostart parameters without leaving home, without a service button in the car.
  • Two-way communication. Models are equipped with sensors to monitor the vehicle's condition. Information is updated at a set frequency. The system monitors the level of protection. In case of unauthorized hacking, the corresponding information will be displayed on the key fob. An alarm will be triggered.
  • Alarm effectiveness. Information about unauthorized entry is transmitted to the owner of the key fob. You will not confuse the alligator car alarm signal with another siren - it works exclusively for you.

Flaws

High productivity of the device requires high energy costs. Despite the low-power technology used during assembly, the batteries need to be changed at least once a month.

In addition, the keychain transmitter is sensitive to mechanical damage. To extend its service life, it is recommended to store it in a protective case.

How the engine autostart function works

Backup engine starting system
The autostart function can be used in any car, regardless of the type of engine (petrol, diesel) and type of gearbox (manual, automatic, variator).

There are two options for autostarting the engine:

  • manually remotely,
  • automatically.

In the first case, to automatically start, you just need to press the button on the key fob. You can also do this from your smartphone

It is important to remember that remote launch is limited to a distance of 300-350 meters

Automatic start is used when the machine is far enough away.

It can also be configured so that the system turns on without the driver’s participation at certain intervals, or according to the air temperature in the cabin. After receiving the signal, the starter starts. The car blinks the turn signals, and the key fob receives a notification about a successful start.

If the engine fails to start the first time, the system will make several more attempts, each time the starter will spin longer.

How to enable auto start on an Alligator alarm?

Alarm models with auto start have two key fobs: one with 5 buttons and a display, and the second is a simple 4-button. The main key fob has the option to enter the programming settings mode, as well as a two-way communication module.

Images are displayed on the display after commands are executed and are confirmed by sound signals or vibration.

The second key fob can only control the system in an already specified algorithm. You can start the engine remotely from both remote controls, but first you need to make all the settings.

The auto-alarm function allows you to set the setting mode by temperature value, by time, and control the start and end time of warming up. Alligator alarm autostart programming instructions:

  1. To enter the setup mode, you need to press and hold the service button for two seconds (in some models this is the F button). The screen should light up and a melodic signal from the key fob will sound.

  • Briefly press the same button again, the key fob will emit a short signal.
  • At this temperature value the engine will start. If you do not press any buttons, the programming mode will be exited automatically.

How to disable auto start on an Alligator alarm?

The autostart function is very popular among car owners, but sometimes situations arise when it needs to be disabled. Some drivers believe that the autostart option reduces the vehicle's capabilities and impairs its protection against theft.

  1. You must take and carefully study the instructions. There are various options for connecting autostart, but there are general principles for any model.
  2. In some alarm systems, the function of disabling autostart is provided by the program. In this case, you need to set it to the off position.
  3. If this function is not available, you can try setting the stop time to the same time as the engine start time (or one minute later).
  4. If the alarm and auto start require the installation of an immobilizer, it is enough not to keep the key fob near the car. Try putting it in a metal box away from the car during autostart.
  5. If these options do not help, you need to contact a specialist service center to reprogram the system.

Standard and extended set of options

How to program a key fob for an alligator alarm: setup and operating instructions

The number of security zones, each of which operates independently or is connected. It is recommended to install an Alligator car alarm with 4-6 independent control points. If an attacker turns off 1-2 security zones, this will not reduce the level of protection of the machine. Key fob functionality – budget models are equipped with an on/off button. In security systems that fall into the middle and high price ranges, the key fob is equipped with an LED screen that displays operating parameters. List of other options:

Step-by-step instruction

For alarm models Alligator L430, L530, and L730, deactivation without a password is performed as follows:

  1. Using the key, open the car door locks. Alarm sirens will sound.
  2. Insert the key into the lock and turn it to the ACC position to turn on the ignition.
  3. Press the service button within fifteen seconds after turning on the ignition.
  4. Start the car engine.

If a password is used to disable it, the action algorithm will be as follows (suitable for M425 models):

  1. Open the car door locks with the key.
  2. Place the key in the lock and turn it to the ACC position.
  3. Within fifteen seconds after this action, press the emergency button several times. The number of presses depends on the first digit of the password. If code 9 is used, the key is clicked nine times.
  4. Wait a few seconds.
  5. Turn the key in the lock to start the engine.

If the password was entered incorrectly three times during an emergency shutdown of the alarm, the anti-theft complex will be temporarily blocked.

Lexin spoke about the service disabling of car anti-theft systems.

For models M725, M700, M2000, S400 and others, service shutdown is performed as follows:

  1. The door locks are opened with a key. The siren of the anti-theft complex will start playing alarm signals. The turn signals in the car will blink, as well as the interior lighting if this option is enabled.
  2. Insert the key into the lock and turn it to activate the ignition.
  3. Within fifteen seconds after the last manipulation, click on the Jack key. The alarms will be deactivated. The complex's LED indicator will stop blinking. The power unit of the car starts.

If the coded system deactivation mode is activated in the alarm, it is possible to use a personal password to control functions and disable them. Depending on the model, the procedure for assigning a code will be different. Any combination between 1 and 99 can be used as a password.

To disable the operation of the above alarm models using a password, follow these steps:

  1. The car door locks are opened with a key.
  2. The alarm will start working, alarm signals and lights will be activated.
  3. The key is installed in the lock and moved to the ACC position. After turning on the ignition, it turns off immediately.
  4. Within fifteen seconds after the last action, click on the service button several times, depending on the first digit of the code. If it is 8, then the key is pressed eight times. After entering the first digit, turn the ignition on and off again. If the password includes only one digit, then you do not need to re-activate and turn off the ignition.
  5. Then, in fifteen seconds, you need to have time to enter the second digit of the password; the procedure is performed in the same way.
  6. If the password was entered correctly, the alarm signals will stop playing, and the car lights and interior lights will not blink. The system LED indicator will stop flashing and the protective mode will be disabled. The driver can start the power unit.

Installation instructions

In accordance with the official manual, installation of all Alligator alarm components must be carried out with the on-board network de-energized.

If the “signaling” is mounted while the power is on, the system wires may short out, as well as failure of the electronic equipment. Malfunctions may appear in the operation of the battery.

Recommendations for placement and installation

Tips for installing elements:

  1. The microprocessor device is mounted in the vehicle interior, for example, in the free space behind the control panel or car radio. The block is fixed using self-tapping screws or plastic clamps. Installation of a microprocessor module under the hood is not allowed, since this device is not sealed. Do not install the unit on other electronic devices to prevent interference.
  2. The siren is placed under the hood of the car; the installation site must be protected from access from under the bottom of the car. Do not install devices near heating units and components. The siren horn rotates downward to prevent moisture from accumulating inside. A special bracket with bolts is used for fixation.
  3. Limit switches are mounted on metal body components in a place where there is no accumulation of moisture or leakage. It is important that the switches are not accessible when the hood or trunk is locked. The device is fixed using a special bracket, which is included in the package.
  4. The diode lamp is designed to determine the status of the alarm and is mounted on the center console. The installation location must be thought out so that the operation of the diode can be seen from the street, but the lighting source should not distract the driver while driving. To install the device, you will need to make a small hole in the dashboard. This must be done carefully so as not to damage other elements and devices.
  5. The sensitivity controller is installed on the hard surface of the partition between the passenger compartment and the engine compartment. To fix the device, use two bolts, which are included in the package. You can install the controller under the instrument panel and use plastic ties to secure it. Regardless of the installation location, the sensor must be freely accessible from the passenger compartment.
  6. The temperature controller is located on the cylinder block housing or other metal surface adjacent to the power unit.
  7. The transceiver module with antenna is installed on the inner surface of the windshield or rear window. Installation must be carried out so that the device does not block the view. If the windshield has a shielding effect, as on many modern cars, then the antenna is installed at the rear. Double-sided tape is used to secure the device.

Connecting System Wiring

When installing it yourself, it is important to correctly connect all components of the security system. Otherwise, the alarm may work intermittently.

Main 16-pin connector

Features of connecting contacts:

  • black and white output is intended for connection to a car siren;
  • black-brown contact is used to connect to the positive input of the brake pedal and the negative element of the parking lever;
  • the red output is intended for connection to a 12-volt contact from the battery;
  • the purple wire is used to connect to the positive inputs of the door trigger and the five-pin block of the electric drive;
  • the black and yellow output is intended for connecting the status input of the autostart system, as well as the standard anti-theft installation of the car;
  • the black-green contact is used to connect to the negative output of the hood trigger or to the temperature controller connection input;
  • the dark green contact is for connecting the negative input of the luggage compartment trigger;
  • the brown output is used to connect to the negative terminal of the door trigger or the negative contact element of the five-wire block;
  • two white conductors are required for connection with pulse inputs to control the headlights;
  • The yellow-violet contact is intended for connection to terminal 50/1 of the ignition switch, in particular to the starter lock control system;
  • the black wire is the ground or ground of the car;
  • white-red output is intended for connection to the battery;
  • the dark blue contact is used to connect to the input of the second channel with programmable options;
  • the white-violet output is intended for connection to the input of a tachometer or engine fluid pressure level controller;
  • the yellow-green contact is an output for connecting to the additional blocking system;
  • The gray input is intended for connection to the contact of the third alarm channel with programmable options.

Power 6-pin connector

Connection features of this block:

  • the red contact is intended for connection to a high-current 12 volt input;
  • the orange output is used to connect the power supply circuit of accessories;
  • the white-pink contact is intended for connection to the power output of the second electrical circuit of the ignition system;
  • the purple contact is necessary to connect to the input of the power system and block the starter mechanism;
  • the red pin is also used to connect to the high current 12 volt output;
  • The pink input is intended for connection to the power supply circuit of the primary ignition line or to the input from the switch.

User Anton Bobkov showed in detail the installation procedure, as well as connecting the connectors of the microprocessor module.

Connecting electric lock drives

If the vehicle uses a three-wire central locking system, then the connection of the elements will be as follows:

  • black-blue and black-green contacts are not used;
  • red-green and red-blue outputs are intended for connection to ground;
  • the white-blue contact is necessary for connection with the standard car closure cable;
  • The white-green output is used to connect with the standard electrical circuit for opening the machine.

If the car has a three-wire central locking system with positive polarity, the connection is made as follows:

  • the black-blue and black-green contacts do not need to be touched, they are not used;
  • red-green and red-blue outputs are intended for connection to a 12-volt electrical circuit with direct current;
  • the white-blue contact is used to connect to the standard closing cable of the machine;
  • The white-green output is intended for connection to the standard electrical circuit for opening the car.

In the case of a single-wire system, the connection will be slightly different:

  • black-green and red-blue contacts are not used when performing a task;
  • the red-green output is intended for connection to the car ground;
  • the remaining cables are connected in accordance with the diagram.

In five- and four-wire systems with reverse polarity, there are no standard relays. Also, such cars may not have a central locking control unit. This is due to the fact that the 12-volt voltage is supplied directly from the ignition switch to the electrical drive devices. This provides a return output to grounding. One of the five contacts that come from the switch will always be closed to 12 volts; the position of the lock does not matter.

One or two more outputs must be connected to ground, regardless of the switch. Of the remaining two contacts, one should close to +12 volts when the lock is switched to Lock mode. The second output must be shorted to 12-volt power if the switch begins to operate in Unlock mode. In such vehicles, it is necessary to cut the standard electrical lines that come from the main switch. It is located in the driver's door.

Connecting the connectors

Features of connecting additional pads:

  1. The black 5-pin connector is for connecting the antenna module. A wire of the appropriate color must be laid from the transceiver unit to the microprocessor alarm module. It connects to a 5 pin output.
  2. The four-pin white input is used to connect an additional dual-zone controller. The connection is made in the same way - to the microprocessor module.
  3. The white four-pin output is used to connect to a two-level sensitivity controller. On a microprocessor device, this connector is located next to the power 6-pin block.
  4. The white 2-pin output is used to connect to the LED indicator.
  5. The blue 2-pin connector is intended for connection to the Valet push-button switch.

Equipment

Any car alarm model includes two transmitter key fobs: a main one with five buttons with an LCD display and an additional simple 4-button one. The first one is designed to enter the programming setup mode in manual mode, and is equipped with a two-way communication module - command execution confirmation signals are displayed on its screen in the form of an indication of special characters and are accompanied by sound signals, melody or vibration. A simple transmitter with four buttons, which duplicate the functions of the main one with the exception of the service one, is intended only for controlling the system in a given algorithm.

Remote engine starting can be done from both transmitter key fobs; to do this, you need to press the buttons in a certain sequence. These combinations have their own variants for different types of alarms.

It is important to remember: starting the car and turning off the engine is always the same combination

TypeStart buttonAction
C-5*fix before starting 2-3 sec
SP-75RS*,*turn on 2 times within 3 seconds
S-975RS*turn on 2 times within 3 seconds
C-500*fix for 2 seconds
SP-55RS*,*turn on 2 times within 3 seconds
TD-350*fix for 2 seconds

If the start does not take place from the first command, the starter will be turned off automatically for a few seconds, followed by an attempt to start. The system will cancel the engine start only after the third time. The corresponding indication with the specified melody or vibration should appear on the display of the main key fob, the car siren will give one short signal, and the turn indicators will turn on twice.

Safety rules for remote or automatic engine starting:

  • The car must be parked in an open space - starting in a garage or underground parking is not allowed;
  • Always keep the parking handbrake on;
  • On vehicles with a manual transmission, the gear indicator is fixed in the neutral position, and in an automatic transmission - in the “PARK” position;
  • There must be sufficient fuel in the fuel tank;
  • The auto start function must not be used when there is a passenger or animal in the cabin.

  • The car must be parked in an open space - starting in a garage or underground parking is not allowed;
  • Always keep the parking handbrake on;
  • On vehicles with a manual transmission, the gear indicator is fixed in the neutral position, and in an automatic transmission - in the “PARK” position;
  • There must be sufficient fuel in the fuel tank;
  • The auto start function must not be used when there is a passenger or animal in the cabin.

How to determine the alarm model by key fob

The manufacturer's alarm model Alligator can be determined by the description of the appearance of its key fob:

Types of alarms

This anti-theft system comes in two types.

  1. The system for starting the power unit. The varieties of models that have this function are characterized by automatic engine start settings, which are described in detail in the user manual. The car enthusiast has the opportunity to use standard settings, or create individual ones, taking into account the difficulties of operating the car.
  2. Feedback system. These models are designed to provide full control of the vehicle when it is not in the driver's line of sight. Some models provide tracking functions via the GSM (satellite) system, which can be used to calculate the location of the car if it is stolen.

In order to find out the type of alligator anti-theft system, you need to carefully study the instructions, or look at the cryptograms glowing on the LCD screen of the key fob.

It is important to remember that some models combine feedback functions with the ability to autostart the power unit

Autorun errors

The main reasons for the failure of the automatic start system, in which the Alligator does not work, may be incorrect settings and technical malfunctions of the car engine:

  • Automatic start by timer or temperature only works when the security mode is on;
  • The engine runs at high speeds (silence occurs, restarts are cancelled);
  • The oil pressure sensor and indicator do not work;
  • The car is not set to the handbrake;
  • There is no transmission "logical neutral" confirmation in automatic transmissions;
  • There is no engine speed data (the tachometer does not work);
  • The car doors or hood are open;
  • In diesel units there is no confirmation of the readiness system of the pre-launch mechanism (warming up of the mechanisms);
  • The specified time for the autorun program has expired.

For the correct operation of all settings, it is important to remember: if during a programmed start a command was given to stop the engine remotely, it will be turned off, but the device will repeat the start strictly according to the specified schedule. All program algorithms are saved when the security mode is disabled - the next time you arm it, autostart will work at the preset time until you reset the timers

During random engine shutdown, the system starts a new timing every 24 hours according to the factory settings.

Anti-HiJack Mode (AVRTM)

If the corresponding programmable function (function No. 1.10) is enabled, you can use the Anti-HiJack (AVRTM) mode (anti-robbery function). Enabling the Anti-HiJack (AVRTM) mode occurs as follows: - If you suspect the possibility of an attack or feel danger, you can activate the Anti-HiJack (AVRTM) function in advance by simultaneously pressing and holding the “Lock Closed” and “Lock Open” buttons » transmitter for 3 seconds with the ignition on. In this case, the siren will give 1 short confirmation signal and the system LED will flash and remain on for 5 seconds. — The transmitter speaker will emit 1 short beep and/or the built-in vibrator will turn on 1 time, and the “Gun” symbol will flash on the transmitter LCD display for 5 seconds. Once the AVRTM function has been activated, it will operate the first time the vehicle door is opened. If you are forced out of your vehicle, the Anti-HiJack (AVRTM) feature will work as soon as you open the door. Note: To protect yourself and your vehicle in a parking lot, activate the AVRTM function before leaving the vehicle. This will protect you even if your car keys and system transmitter key fob are taken from you after you have parked your car and armed the system. If you are attacked and your car keys and transmitter are taken away, the Anti-HiJack mode timer (AVRTM) will begin immediately after the system is disarmed and the ignition is turned on. It will no longer be possible to disable this mode using the system's transmitter keychain.

Anti-HiJack mode (AVRTM) activation: 1) After the ignition has been turned on for a total of 50 seconds after the Anti-HiJack function is turned on, the siren will turn on and short warning signals will sound for 7 seconds. The transmitter's speaker will sound alarms for 15 seconds and/or the built-in vibrator will turn on for 15 seconds. The turn signal symbols will flash on the transmitter's LCD display for 30 seconds. The Gun symbol will flash until the Anti-HiJack (AVR) mode is disabled. 2) After 7 seconds, the siren will start working continuously and the vehicle's direction indicators will flash. If the vehicle's ignition is turned off at this moment, the system will immediately turn on the engine blocking circuits. 3) Another 30 seconds after the siren turns on, the starter interlock circuits will turn on. The siren and turn signals will continue to operate and the engine will remain disabled until the vehicle's battery is completely discharged. Note: If the active and safe engine shutdown function is turned on in the Anti-HiJack mode (function No. 1.11) and the necessary connections are made, then in the 3rd stage of the Anti-HiJack mode the engine will be gradually forcibly turned off: within 30 seconds the vehicle's ignition circuit will periodically break for a split second, thereby causing the vehicle speed to decrease to a safe level, after which the ignition circuit and starter circuit of the vehicle will be blocked.

Benefits of the Alligator Protection System

Despite the fact that the company’s product range includes models with different technical equipment, they have similar features.

Let's call them:

  1. The devices are powered from the vehicle's on-board network with a voltage of 12 V.
  2. The current of all models is limited to 20 A.
  3. A 1.5 V battery is used as a battery for the main key fob.
  4. The Alligator car alarm uses a zone security system. If one of the sensors fails, the others continue to monitor their zones. The device continues to perform a protective function.
  5. The key fobs are protected by a button lock that prevents accidental operation.
  6. Built-in relay blocks protect the alarm from overloads and short circuits.
  7. All models operate in the frequency range: 433 - 868 MHz.
  8. The menu and information on the display are displayed in Russian.

I would especially like to note the ability of all models, without exception, to work in various regions of our country, including in the northern regions. Critical sub-zero temperatures will not become a hindrance in protecting cars.

Alligator car alarms use the latest industry developments. Let's talk about some of the technologies used in the production of models.

They distinguish the products from security systems of other companies:

  • Anti Hi-Jack function blocks the engine in case of theft;
  • the Comfort option makes the driver’s work easier: it makes adjustments to uncovered windows and sunroof;
  • some models in the line duplicate the immobilizer function, blocking an attacker from starting the engine;
  • models have the ability to turn on security when the power unit is running;
  • autostart can occur not only by simply pressing a button, but also by alarm clock, timer, interior temperature;
  • The latest generation models have a function that protects the turbodiesel from incorrect operating modes.

Let us also highlight separately the fact that the new Alligator “signals” work on the principle of interactive code encryption.

It works as follows. The main Alligator alarm key fob sends a request to the device to unlock the doors. The electronic alarm unit transmits back its requirement: a key is needed to carry out the request. Only after receiving it can the car doors be opened. Such interactive coding eliminates the possibility of electronic hacking: signal interception by scanners and grabber devices.

Tamper resistance

There is one online resource where they offer to purchase a manufactured code grabber - a device that cracks alarm codes. This device looks like a key fob, but it fits most Alligator systems. The code of one-way key fobs, as well as the code of various pagers, is emulated. The exception, supposedly, will be one of them: we are talking about a key fob with a “diode” display (S-250/275).

Screenshot of one harmless site

Any car alarm that uses the keeloq code can be hacked. Let us clarify that this statement also applies to models with a “diode” display. It would be strange if something new was used in the S-275 or S-250 - both systems are budget. Draw your own conclusion.

Another site with code grabbers

Anyone who knows how to use search will find confirmation. We wish you success.

Why do we need two-way communication?

The car security system also works when the engine is turned off. She must transmit event messages to a pager. This is feedback, that is, two-way communication. And when there is no pager, the essence of security comes down to the following:

  1. When an alarm situation occurs, the siren, turn signals, etc. are turned on;
  2. The shock sensor is designed for two levels of impact - with minor impacts, the warning level is triggered.

Systems with feedback are characterized by the same properties. In addition, they can transmit messages.

Most models belonging to the Alligator brand are “one-sided”:

  1. N and NS families: models 105-605;
  2. TD: 210, 212, 215;
  3. L: 330-730;
  4. M: 300, 400, 425 and so on, up to the 850 series;
  5. LX: the whole series.

For a long time, the presence of a display was generally considered a tribute to fashion. And the owners installed only one-way systems. However, such systems are still being produced, and the demand for them has not decreased. That is, these products have their own market niche.

Equipment setup

The installation is followed by step-by-step setup, because the Alligator alarm instructions from the key fob with four or two buttons contain the necessary tips. Insert the key into the ignition, press and hold the Valet button. After holding it for 3 seconds, the driver presses it 3 times until a sound signal appears. The final step is to quickly press each of the keys located on the remote control in turn. Further procedure:

  • turn off the engine;
  • disconnect both terminals from the battery;
  • turn off the interior lighting safety element to reduce the likelihood of accelerated battery discharge;
  • mount the system sensor near the controller using a 4-pin connector;
  • turn on the “programming” mode of the alarm control unit;
  • select the sensitivity level (from 0 to 10) - the average is 4-5.

Having chosen the sensitivity level, they slap the hood.

On a note!

The driver selects a value at which the car, on the one hand, does not react to vibration caused by a random passer-by, and, on the other hand, it will work if there is a break-in attempt. After installation is completed, fix the wires and control unit as indicated in the instructions.
