• remove the module bracket from under the bolt;
• remove the module with wires from the engine compartment.

What categories of coolant can be mixed

Of course, the best option would be to fill the system only with liquids from one category, but if for some reason this is not possible, then you should use the following compatibility table:

1. Antifreeze Tl - only with antifreeze Tl.
2. G11 can be mixed with G13, G12+ and G12++.
3. G11 must not be added to G12.
4. G12 can be mixed with G12+, G++, G13.
5. G13 cannot be mixed with G12, but with other types it can.

Being guided solely by the color of the coolant when purchasing/refilling/replacing it is fundamentally wrong. Some manufacturers paint antifreeze and antifreeze in colors different from the generally accepted ones. The color has no effect on the chemical composition and density of the liquid.

I have been using Ravenol antifreeze, a poisonous yellow-green color, since 2002. I change it every two years. I recently had to change the thermostat. I was pleasantly surprised; after five years and 73 thousand miles, the inside was perfectly clean, no plaque or scale.

Lukoil G11 (blue) - inexpensive and normal. What was poured in from the factory in the first three years turned into a muddy dark green swamp with flakes; the system had to be thoroughly flushed.

For the second three years I drove this Lukoil, when I drained it, it didn’t change color and there was no cloudiness, I didn’t flush the system, I filled it in, and I drove on.

I used Lukoil antifreeze extra G11 (aka Sintek) - there were no problems. Now I have switched to HEPU P999 blue concentrate. Both are inexpensive and workable.
