Installing an alarm system on a Lada Granta Liftback with your own hands. Advice from the experts

Each VAZ vehicle, including the Lada Granta Liftback, is equipped with a passive protection device - a standard immobilizer. This is a digital chip that transmits radio frequency signals to the electronic control unit when the door is activated by turning the key in the ignition core.

Car alarm function - passive protection

If the frequencies do not match or the mechanism does not work correctly, the car cannot be opened or the engine started.

There are frequent cases of system hacking and theft of technical equipment. In order to increase the level of safety, many motorists install active means of protection - multifunctional alarms.

The range of secret police vehicles is wide, but not all are compatible with the Lada Granta Liftback due to design features and technical characteristics. In order to provide methodological assistance, we will consider the algorithm for self-installation of an anti-theft system using the example of a Lada Granta Liftback car.

Alarm selection

In general, it’s time to install an alarm and heating) the epic with heating is still in full swing, so I’ll write about the solution with the alarm for now.
There’s a strange trend in our city these days - I called a couple of places that install alarms and when I asked for a budget option they quoted me 17,000 re. This is the supposedly cheapest option for Starline A93 eco. It’s clear that this is absolutely unacceptable, especially since the functionality still boils down to autostart, opening/closing, and shouting. For old times’ sake, I started looking for Starline B9 (it was on a Corolla) - there are a lot of ads on Avito, but also a lot of articles about a huge number of fakes. No longer needed. (Most of the photos on Avito show signs of Chinese fakes). On Avito, I again found the Sher-khan Magicar 7 for sale. At one time I came across it on the LC200 and I can’t say anything bad - at least not worse than the Starline. The price tag was around 5000, I decided to google further and came across the website of the “connected one”. They sell sher-khan magicar 13 for 5800. Everything I need in 13 is there, plus a cute keychain. In general, I ordered this miracle, I’m waiting. I will install it myself - the price tag from the “gentlemen masters” is completely unjustified, except for greed. Moreover, I made the limit switches the other day; all that remains is to run the wires in the driver’s door to the central locking control. By the way, setting the signaling exactly to the “norm” is perfectly described here on the drive, simply excellent and informative. I'll be sure to add links. Well done, they were not lazy and painted and filmed the video, and most importantly they were not greedy and shared)

Installation of alarm system with auto start StarLine A93 2CAN+2LIN.

Friends, this time I want to share my experience of installing an alarm system with autostart StarLine A93 / A63 2CAN+2LIN on the new Lada Granta. I have divided all the information into points in order to show as clearly and concisely as possible the sequence of actions and the main connection points of this security and telematics complex.

1. Preparatory work.

Equipment

StarLine A93 2CAN+2LIN ECO is standard - in principle, everything necessary for installation is there, with the exception of consumables.

To complete the work you will need:

It is better to choose a heated garage with good access to the interior from the driver’s side and bright lighting as the location for installing the alarm.

While the temperature outside the garage door is 0° - 5°C, the RESANTA 2kW heat gun, purchased for 1000 rubles, copes well with the task of heating the garage

in Citylink

You will also additionally have to purchase a protective cover for the alarm key fob in order to preserve its presentable appearance for as long as possible and to prevent it from beating against the steering shaft housing when swinging while driving.

Link to key fob case - bit.do/fjdZL

2. Software update for StarLine A93 2CAN+2LIN alarm system.

We’ll start the installation process by updating the firmware and setting up the configurations of the central unit; to do this, unscrew the four screws and remove the board.

On the additional module “2CAN 2LIN” we can see a microUSB connector for connecting to a computer via cable.

Next, download from the link and install the StarLine Master program on your PC.

We also download a configuration file specifically for our car model using this link and use it to update the firmware and CAN libraries.

3. Preparation of the alarm unit and its connectors.

Now we will make preliminary preparation of the alarm cables, taking into account the characteristics of the connection points on this vehicle.

Let's start with the first central locking cable with a 6-pin connector, labeled "X-1" in the diagram. We collect all the conductors, except the black one with the red stripe, into a bundle before the fuses and after about 10-15 cm. It is also advisable to additionally secure the fuses with electrical tape.

The second is the power cable for power supply and control of light signals; we assemble it in a similar way into a bundle, leaving the red wire free.

The third cable has a 10-pin connector.

The fourth cable with a 6-pin connector for connecting input signals for the status of opening/closing doors, trunk, and hood.

The fifth cable is the CAN and LIN interface connection.

Next comes the cable connecting the power module and the engine temperature sensor.

Let's move on to preparing the autostart power module.

Immediately before installation in the car, I will glue this module here on the central block.

4. Dismantling the car interior.

To access the ignition switch connector, remove the steering shaft protective cover. To do this, first remove the plastic trim under the steering column (fastened with clips). Unscrew the two bolts and five self-tapping screws securing the steering shaft protective casing and remove it. To access the connection points for the LIN bus and the trunk limit switch, remove the driver's door sill trim (fastened with five self-tapping screws).

Remove the instrument panel. To do this, you must first remove the decorative trim of the instrument panel (fastening with self-tapping screws), then unscrew the four fastening screws and remove the panel, disconnecting the connectors.

5. Installation and connection of limit switches, siren, temperature sensor.

We unscrew the sill covers and pull the cable to connect the missing ends.

We transfer the cable to the opposite side under noise insulation in the area of the rear sofa seat.

At the same time, we extend the trunk opening status wire from the luggage compartment into the car interior.

After removing the driver's door trim, remove the central locking connector. In this case, we will need the cable terminals from the Euro connector of the car radio. We insert them into sockets 2 and 7 of the central locking connector. This must be done in order to control the central locking from the alarm key fob when the engine is running (contact 2 – “close”, 7 – “open”).

6. Connecting the alarm unit circuits. 7. Setting up and checking the functionality of the alarm system.

Continuation of points “6” and “7” - watch the video below:

Alarm system for Lada Granta

Before you begin installing the alarm, you need to understand that this procedure is quite complex.
In this case, there is a high probability that a driver inexperienced in car repairs, who decides to do everything himself, will make a mistake. To avoid such troubles, experts strongly recommend not to neglect the instructions that come with the alarm itself, and also to seek help from more experienced colleagues. This will help save your time and do everything quickly and correctly, without causing damage to your car. It is normal that car owners strive to secure their vehicle and install security alarm systems. As for the Lada Granta, the factory immobilizer is clearly not enough for the driver to be absolutely calm about the safety of his car. When buying a new Lada Granta in the “Standard” and “Norma” modifications, the buyer, unfortunately, cannot count on a standard alarm system. This option is present only on the more expensive modification (Lada Granta Lux). However, experts assure that the standard alarm system on this model is incomplete and cannot guarantee 100% safety. This is why most happy Lada owners decide to install more reliable alarm systems.

You can also decide whether to contact specialists on this issue or do everything yourself. The specialists at the service stations will provide you with a guarantee for their work, and you can be confident in the reliability and proper operation of your security system. However, the procedure for installing an alarm can be done with your own hands. This is not an easy task, but it is quite doable.

Connection points

As soon as the thought of purchasing an alarm has occurred to you, you must first decide on your choice.
What exactly do you want from a security system? You only need protection or some other additional functions that a device of this kind can provide. It’s worth saying right away that in most cases there is no point in buying the most sophisticated newest model. A strong middle player will be more useful for Granta. Typically, brands of such systems quickly become popular or fly off the shelves like melted popsicles. An alarm system that has proven itself to be excellent will be in demand simply because it has been tested by many, and nowadays information reaches consumers much faster than even just five years ago.

The configuration of the security system completely depends on its model, so the presence or absence of any elements does not yet indicate a defect, etc.

Next, we will look at one of the proven autostart systems - Starline. It is chosen by car owners who prefer to service their iron horse themselves, rather than throw it into the hands of service station masters on every occasion. Moreover, this system is perfect not only for Grants standard, but also for liftback and luxury.

Initially, during assembly, the factory equipped the Grant with a limit switch only for the driver's door, so you will need to additionally purchase new ones for the remaining three doors, as well as connection blocks. In addition, you will need about 10 m of wire and an alarm bell, which usually comes with the security system, but not always.

Which alarm system should you choose?

First you need to choose a security system. Most owners of budget domestic cars choose the StarLine alarm system. This option is the most suitable if you look at the price-quality ratio. At an affordable price, this system offers the driver fairly high-quality vehicle protection. Before you start working, you need to read the instructions that come with the alarm.

Alarm connection diagram

If you don't have one yet, you can look at it in the diagram. In addition, we immediately determine the connection points for the Lada Granta alarm system. First, the name of the circuit is indicated, then the wire color, polarity and its location:

Reviews

Positive
1.Victor: after purchasing the car, I immediately ordered the installation of an anti-theft device. The service recommended StarLine A93. Budget option, basic set of functions. It works properly, no complaints.
2.Kirill: I installed the alarm myself for the first time, everything worked out, it works. The process is not difficult, I advise you to try it.
3.Vladimir: I bought a security guard at a car store, the manager advised me to buy a budget assembly from StarLine A93. I've been using it for six months and it works well.
4.Vyacheslav: after buying the car I used the standard immobilizer. Two months ago I installed the StarLine A93 signaling system. The quality is good, the price is affordable, my recommendations.
5.Sergey: I installed a Pandora Deluxe 1870 security system on the car. Despite the budget price, the quality is quite decent.
Negative
1.Kirill: I don’t recommend installing various types of budget alarms. Duration of operation is six months to a year, after which replacement and repair. It is better to choose more expensive models from American manufacturers.
2.Ivan: negative review about Pandora Deluxe. I installed it six months ago at a service center, but yesterday it broke down. I couldn’t get into the car, so I called a team of specialists.
3.Alexander: I don’t recommend anti-theft from StarLine. Budget model, service life only one year. I won’t install it again, I’ll buy it more expensive.

How to connect the alarm yourself?

Now, armed with knowledge, you can connect the alarm itself. It’s worth noting right away that in Grant the manufacturer installed a stock limit switch only on the driver’s door. For the other three doors you will have to buy limit switches separately. We immediately buy connectors for them. You will also need to purchase about 11 m of medium-thick wire and an Alfa 12V siren (bell).

We install the siren and limit switch in the engine compartment. Through the plug, which is located near the engine, we pass the wire coming from the bell and limit switch into the passenger compartment. The main block of the protective system is located behind the Lada instruments. To do this, remove the steering casing and the dashboard trim. We must place a service button on the bottom strip of the fuse panel, and the shock sensor is also installed there. It is best to install the transmitter/antenna above the rear view mirror. On the left pillar, as is customary among car enthusiasts, there is an LED indicator. The next important step is to connect the main unit to the ignition switch. The rest of the work concerns the automatic opening of doors in the car.

We extend the wiring to all doors of your vehicle. Now we connect the electric drive to the central locking. Granta has an electric drive, but the manufacturer chose not to connect it, so you will have to do it yourself. We look at the connection points of the Lada Grant, assemble the connector and connect the wiring. We pull the wires into the cabin through the corrugated door tube. We connect all connectors. At the same time, you need to connect the wires in the remaining doors.

Now you can start testing the new security system.

Good morning. What is the best alarm system to install on Granta 8kl so that it is not expensive and works well and does not lose the warranty. Thank you

Or what else would you recommend?

A little humor

by Adminrive Published 06.11.2016

The warranty will be void if you don’t install it at an official dealer, but it’s better to put a signal. with feedback is very convenient, it costs about 3600 KGB type. Well, if you want even cheaper, then KGB without feedback is 2300 rubles. But I advise with feedback...

Arslan, the warranty will not be void if you install it in the service standards

Starline zbs!) a93 with kan, a91 without

Anton, if you do it at a regular service center, let them give you a certificate that they are specialists, then there will be no problems with the guarantee

It’s better to put a lock on the hood and steering shaft or gearbox, it’s 100 times more reliable.

Ilnaz, how can you determine that this certificate is not fake and that the dealers did not send it with this piece of paper?

Seryozha, if they immediately agree to give it to you, then it’s fine, if they say like we don’t know, if they offer something else, then it’s crap, they should give you the certificate right away without any unnecessary questions

Can I bring my own alarm system to the dealer so they can install it? Will the warranty still apply then?

I already know from experience that it’s not worth installing equipment at the dealer in a hurry, so I left the car with only crankcase protection and a set of mats (although I wouldn’t buy that either, but the car immediately drove 360 km south). Now I’m studying the issue of signaling: what is better, where to install it, and what functionality to limit myself to. Having called the offices in advance, I was surprised by the range of prices for the work: from 3,000 to 7,000 rubles for installation. Everyone's assortment boils down to StarLine A91, so I was thinking, should I put it like everyone else and not invent something, or something like that? budget up to 15 rubles, from the requirements of autostart, reliability.

Another question, I want to replace the key with a start-stop button, is it worth it, will reliability not be affected?

Conclusion

The standard passive protection system on the Lada Granta Liftback is not enough. It is necessary to additionally install an active alarm.

Considering the wide range of products on the market, it is difficult for an inexperienced owner to make the right choice and select the correct security module model.

When purchasing, consider the cost of the product, and then its technical characteristics.

The article provides reviews of the most popular anti-theft models. The owner has the final say.

To disperse the punks, for those who need a beeper, a simple alarm will do. No feedback, with a minimal set of functions. Engine blocking and sound signal. Alligator A-LIGHT or Leopard LR433 are suitable. You can click on widgets and look at the characteristics on websites.

It's simple. Buy it, install it yourself. The main thing is that after self-installation, the neighbors sleep peacefully, otherwise they themselves will steal your car))) If not yourself, then get ready to look for service and money. And this is about three to four thousand rubles. I don’t see any point in spending money on such beepers, especially since most cars have a standard beeper.

More serious alarms already inspire some confidence. After trying various manufacturers, I chose StarLine. The choice is wide, depending on everyone's needs. For those for whom it is important not to lose touch with the car, the StarLine A63 ECO option is good. Optionally, you can make autostart, GPS, GSM. The A63 has broader functions, it already has auto start and a security mode when the engines are running. I really liked the StarLine E63 alarm system, it can still be found, but it is no longer in production. The broken LCD display on the key fob did not interfere with the proper operation of the system. An easy and intuitive settings menu where you can adjust the sensitivity of the sensors, autostart time and even view the temperature inside the car. It’s especially good in the morning, you know how to dress. However, go through the widget to the stores, select the necessary parameters. I was pleasantly surprised by the possibility of installing the purchased alarm system either from the seller or from the seller’s partners. Thus, one of the stores offers installation of an alarm with auto start for only 2,500 from a partner.

I made my choice. What you like is up to you to decide. I recommend, but I don't force. A nice bonus from the manufacturer is a wide network of authorized installation centers and 24-hour technical support in case of unforeseen situations. Okay, I'm probably boring you by now. Think, decide, call me an advertiser. All the best and good luck!

Rating of car security systems for Lada Granta

Our life is becoming more and more complicated. Electronic systems that serve our everyday life, while easy to use, are becoming increasingly technically complex. We don't understand them - we exploit them. The choice of a particular device is often left to professionals. We trust their opinion, experience and knowledge, and in return we expect to receive a high-quality solution to our problem. But in the modern world, approaches to the same problem can be completely different, and a professional may not necessarily offer the best option. Often a solution is proposed that is optimized not for what is best for the consumer, but for what is more profitable for the seller or more convenient for the installer...

So, no matter how much we want, a simple user cannot do without knowledge about the subject.

Our article contains the results of one experiment. We decided to call a car alarm installation studio and find out what kind of security system a professional installer would offer us for installation on a domestic Lada Granta car. And based on this, make a rating of the offer, sort it out and choose the best.

The legend was very simple: during the conversation we asked for recommendations on installing a car alarm on a 2015 Granta with auto start in a luxury configuration. We didn't talk about the budget. They definitely asked about the warranty for the work and equipment, and also clarified about maintaining warranty rights for the electrics of the new car.

In total, we called 95 installation centers in 15 cities of Russia. Cities were selected based on a list of million people, and installation studios were selected based on a search in Yandex. Whoever gets into the search results first gets the call.

A little about the car

Many people are accustomed to the fact that domestic cars lag far behind foreign ones in terms of their electrical equipment. On imported cars, digital control buses are used with all their might, but in the products of our automobile industry it is still necessary to string each limit switch with wires throughout the cabin. Yes, it was like that, but now everything is different. Lada Granta is one of the latest cars equipped not only with a digital CAN bus, but also with a Lin bus. The use of digital connections to the vehicle bus opens up great opportunities for security system installers to monitor the state of the vehicle’s standard systems and even manage them. Thus, a car alarm knows whether the windows are open or not, and can close them when arming. It monitors the status of the doors, the condition of the engine, whether the trunk is closed and much more. Therefore, for the security system to fully operate at the modern level, it is necessary to integrate it into the digital environment of the car.

Lada Granta is also equipped with a standard chip key and immobilizer. Until the on-board system sees its digital key, it will not give permission to start the engine. Therefore, to implement such a convenient function of a car security system as auto start, it is necessary that the alarm system be able to bypass this blocking.

This is done in two ways: either by installing an immobilizer bypass, or by electronic key emulation. In its simplest form, a lineman is a box into which a car’s original key or a key chip is placed. Those. The security system installer shows the on-board computer that the key is here, in place, you can start the engine, but the key is not actually in the lock: it lies in a box that is hidden under the dashboard. In the second case, a security complex or a special electronic crawler emulates the key signal, creating it only in autostart mode. There is no regular key in the car at this moment.

It is clear that the first method of bypassing the trouser immobilizer has many flaws. The standard immobilizer is disabled, leaving a duplicate key or chip in the car. All this negatively affects the anti-theft resistance of the car. The second method is more reliable and resistant to theft, because the standard immobilizer continues to protect the car.

So we have before us a serious, complex car that requires a professional approach and modern security systems.

As a result, we were offered to install 15 different models of car alarms from 9 brands. We will not describe all systems, but will focus only on the leaders of the list and analyze in detail what was offered to us.

The rating of security systems proposed by professional installation studios for Lada Granta is as follows:

Guarantee

Before we look at them, we need to say a few general words about what we learned from the survey.

The first thing I would like to draw your attention to is the big difference in the warranty obligations that the security system installers were willing to undertake. First, let's make a reservation that the leaders of our survey (Pandora and StarLine) are provided with a three-year warranty by the manufacturer. Imagine our surprise when most installers lowered this warranty to 2 years or even 1 year! There was one individual who said that he only gives a six-month warranty, and when we asked him what about a three-year manufacturer’s warranty, we were unceremoniously told that this was not for him...

There is a very big difference in the installation warranty. A number of companies (and we were very pleased with this) gave a lifetime guarantee on it. Moreover, the cost of their work did not differ from those who gave only a one-year guarantee.

On a positive note, it can be noted that almost all of the installation services that we called had a certificate for carrying out work on car electrical systems and provided the client with all the documents so that the new car would not be removed from warranty after installing the security system.

We also note the very different level of work with clients. Some were ready to talk with the client and explain to him the need to install certain blocks, others answered in monosyllables and did not particularly try to understand the clients’ problems. But this is not surprising.

Something else struck me. Although we chose only specialized installation centers for our calls, it was there (albeit in just a couple of places) that we were offered to choose a security system based on the type and shape of the alarm key fob. Incredible! It's like choosing a car solely based on the color and shape of the body. The approach of a real blonde...

Another fact that we encountered: not a single installation center told us or cited as a competitive advantage that the security system had a customer support center. Which, in the event of an unforeseen situation or simply problems with the system, can explain to the owner how to act. Those who have ever jumped around a screaming car and could not turn it off or open it will understand how important this is. It’s gratifying that both StarLine and Pandora have federal support centers with free calls within Russia.

StarLine A91 – car security system

Let's start with the leader of our rating. 38% of the installers we surveyed recommended using the StarLine A91 system as the basis of the security complex.

This security system is produced by NPO StarLine. The history of the company goes back 27 years, and the history of the development of security systems began in 1991. Today, the development of security systems and the production of the latest models are carried out at the site in St. Petersburg. The following words were cited as arguments in favor of choosing this system: the system is reliable and inexpensive. And it’s true: the cost of a turnkey security complex was announced from 8,800 to 11,000 rubles. Only frankly Chinese systems were installed cheaper. The arguments voiced by the installers are generally true.

StarLine A91 is not a new, proven model. Its radio channel is protected by dialogue encoding, but it is not suitable for organizing a security system in a Lada Granta equipped with digital buses. Those. You can build a security system by extending everything analoguely, but you won’t be able to use all the functions that could be implemented with proper connection. The big question is whether it will be able to bypass the immobilizer and implement autostart, but that is up to the installers.

What’s interesting: when we asked NPO StarLine what the installers’ recommendations for choosing a security system for Lada Granta based on StarLine A91 were based on, they were very surprised, because, in their opinion, this system is not suitable for this car at all.

StarLine A93 – car security system

StarLine A93 is a complex of a completely different level than the previous system. It was produced by the manufacturer in the form of a main module that could be installed on vehicles not equipped with a digital bus. If necessary, additional modules were added to the main board: a CAN-LIN module, as well as a GSM module. This modular design is a definite plus for the production and sale of systems, as it allows for a more flexible approach to implementation issues. Among the additional advantages that the installers told us about: the presence of a digital tilt and impact sensor, which allows the system to respond even to small movements of the car, for example, when jacking up while stealing wheels (the A91 did not react to this). A reliable protected radio path in the key fob was also mentioned. Among the additional advantages of the system, many installers pointed to the possibility of retrofitting the system with additional modules. This is a GSM module for controlling the security system from a mobile phone and a GPS/GLONASS module for determining the coordinates of the car. But this costs extra money.

Let's see how much you are offered to pay. Despite the flexibility of pricing, the cost of installing the StarLine A93 system was higher and ranged from 11,500 to 15,000 rubles. But that is not all. To implement autostart, you must also purchase the StarLine BP-05 immobilizer bypass module – 500 rubles. Put a second key there or make a new chip - 300 rubles. for a blank and 2000–4000 rubles for making a duplicate chip. However, in this case we still leave the key in the car, which reduces its security. You can use the StarLine F1 keyless immobilizer bypasser (software key emulation), but the cost of this unit will be around 8,000–9,000 rubles.

Thus, it turns out that a security system with an autostart function will cost the user around 15,000 - 19,000 rubles, this taking into account the manufacture of the chip. If you use a keyless crawler, the cost will be even higher: 19,000 – 24,000 rubles.

The strength of the StarLine A93 system is the ability to immediately or later equip the security complex with GSM (StarLine M32 CAN) and GPS/GLONASS modules. These options allow you to control where the car is located, control the security system by calling an SMS message, through the website www.starline-online.ru or using a mobile application. The cost of retrofitting that was announced to us: 6,000 rubles for GSM and 3,000 rubles for GPS/GLONASS. If the units are purchased immediately, then you do not need to pay for installation, but if you equip the car after installing the main complex, you will have to pay another 3,000 rubles. As a result, the cost of the system increases by another 9,000 - 12,000 rubles.

Our story cannot be considered complete without a description of the anti-theft capabilities of the system. StarLine A93 also allows you to control the hood lock and install the StarLine R2 wireless locking relay. These blocks will allow you to implement a self-defending security perimeter in the engine compartment.

Pandora LX 3055 – car security system

Let's move on to the third leader of our rating - the Pandora LX 3055 security system. It was developed and produced by the NPO Experimental Instrument Making Plant in Kaluga, and distributed. Another well-known brand of this company is Pandect immobilizers and security systems.

The system is positioned by the manufacturer as an inexpensive solution for cars equipped with a digital bus. When developing their systems, Pandora designs prefer an integrated approach rather than a modular approach like the previous manufacturer. Pandora systems use powerful AMR processors that are responsible for all system operation. They process signals from sensors, communicate with cars via CAN, and emulate the operation of keys.

This integrated approach allows you to change software with similar hardware, customizing the system for specific tasks. In our case, the system is a lightweight version of the Pandora telemetry systems of the DXL 39XX line. Leaving the proven software functions, the manufacturers cut off the telemetry part, but retained such advantages as the system operating with two CAN buses or with CAN-LIN buses.

The manufacturer pays special attention to the fact that the system is tailored for domestic cars equipped with a LIN bus: Lada, Datsun, UAZ. Among the stated capabilities are control of central locking, standard security system, Comfort function, trunk opening and slave mode.

But the most interesting feature of the Pandora LX 3055 is the implementation of an algorithm to bypass the standard immobilizer. The entire algorithm is software, built on the basis of the main processor, which allows you to do without additional blocks and wires. This is exactly what is needed for our Lada Granta. This solution does not reduce the security of the car, since the standard immobilizer remains active. It turns off only at the moment of automatic and remote start. At the same time, the rest of the time, a standard immobilizer, for which, by the way, the owner paid money, protects the car. In addition to the above domestic cars, the keyless crawler supports a number of models from KIA/Hyundai with a Start&Stop button, Renault/Nissan, Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus (more details on the manufacturer’s website: https://www.alarmtrade.ru/articles/69. htm#block12). But you need to be more careful with bypass in the Lada Granta, since there is one modification of this model in which bypassing the standard immobilizer is impossible.

If we talk about installation, a great help for installers, increasing the speed and quality of work, is the system for setting up all parameters of the security system using a computer program. This is especially true when selecting optimal system operation in automatic/remote start mode. All competing systems today use the old configuration scheme via the Valet button for this, which is long, inconvenient and fraught with errors.

We would like to draw the attention of car enthusiasts to the presence of a digital 3D accelerometer with a complex processing algorithm, which we once talked about (https://www.autodela.ru/main/top/news/Pandora_5000_NEW). The advantage of this algorithm is that it can detect even slow, shockless movements of a car when hanging on a hydraulic jack, and many metropolitan car owners can tell you how it saves you from tow trucks.

The only thing in which this system is inferior to the StarLine A93 described above is the inability to connect telematics, but the manufacturer has other products for this.

Let's return to our survey and the cost of installing the Pandora LX 3055 system. Despite the fact that only 16% of respondents recommended this product to us, it took third place, and if we remember that we dismissed the StarLine A91 as unsuitable for the Lada Granta, it turns out that that the percentage of recommendations is higher, and the place in the ranking will already be second.

Now about the cost. The average, most often proposed cost for a turnkey installation of a Pandora LX 3055 car security system was 15,000 rubles, with a stated minimum of 13,500 and a maximum of 17,000 rubles.
