The Starline A94 alarm belongs to a new family of security systems and was released in 2013. A special feature of the device is the built-in 2lin/2can module. Thanks to the telematic Kan-bus, signals are constantly transmitted between the various elements of the anti-theft complex, which increases the level of coordination and execution of service options. The model is available in two versions - the regular Starline A94 Dialog and Starline A94S. For the most part they have the same characteristics. In particular, both are equipped with the Dialogue encryption system, which prevents signal interception by intruders. In addition, both modifications have the same Slave mode and GPS module. The main difference is the ability to autostart the engine via a phone using the GSM module that the A94S is equipped with. Thanks to the latter, system control is possible even via SMS commands. Starline A91 does not start with the key.

Performing an automatic start
Autostart for Starline a94 is possible using three different commands: by alarm clock, by engine temperature and at a certain frequency.
To warm up the engine using an alarm clock, you will need:
- Set the exact time on the key fob;
- Set alarm time;
- Turn on alarm
- Moving around the display using the fourth key, stop at the clock icon and press the third button.
To set the alarm time on Starline, hold down the fourth button, wait for three sound signals - 1 long, 2 short and press the same key twice more, 1 or 2 times depending on the choice of hours or minutes. Operate the second and third keys to change numeric values. Subsequently pressing the fourth button allows you to turn the alarm on or off by controlling the second or third keys, respectively.
The instructions state that illuminated clock and alarm icons become indicators of correctly performed actions.
Temperature-based autostart for Starline is possible after performing the following steps:
- Select the thermometer icon, as the instructions previously advised;
- Press the third button and use it to select the desired temperature, reaching which the machine will begin to warm up.
The temperature step is three degrees.
In order for the engine to warm up at a certain frequency, you will need to set the exact time. You can enable this feature by finding the clock icon and clicking on it with the third button, which also changes the period value in 2-hour increments when used again.
On the Starline a94 display this will be displayed in numerical and alphabetic values, where the first is the period, and the second is its decoding in hours. To cancel any automatic start option, return to the selected icons and press the second key.

The Starline A94 car alarm with auto start is one of the new generation anti-theft security systems. It features a high level of burglary protection, a wide range of functions and good reliability. There is an instruction manual for installing and configuring Starline A94.
Button combination
Starline A94 is controlled using buttons and their combinations. Most of them are located on two control panels, but in addition to them there is also a Valet service button. It is located inside the car and is used to activate the service mode, programming mode or emergency disablement of the security system.
As for the keys on key fobs, they are used for:
- turning on and off the security mode - short presses on the first and second, respectively;
- remote engine start - long-term impact on the first key;
- activating automatic winding by timer, alarm clock or temperature - using the cursor and the third button;

- setting the levels of the tilt and shock sensors - double pressing the second button;

Performing a remote start
Starline a94 allows you to launch from the key fob in two ways.
- Using the fourth key of the key fob, navigate through the service icons located around the perimeter of the display. Stop at the fan image and briefly press the third button;
- Hold down the first key on the key fob, wait for the beep, release, and then press the third.
In both cases, the engine started.
You can also remotely stop or, conversely, continue warming up. With Starline a94 this is done through the following manipulations.
The instructions say: to stop, you need to find the fan icon again and press the second button on it, or hold down the first key, hear a characteristic sound signal and, releasing it, press the fourth.

Starline A94 is configured using a control panel with two-way communication and a Valet service key. When installing and activating various options, it is important to follow the recommendations of the user manual.
Setting the time
The clock is set through the main menu of the main key fob. To enter it, press the fourth key and hold until a long melodic signal appears, and then two short ones. The time display will begin to flash and within 8 seconds you must begin changing it.
First of all, set the value of the current hour using keys 2 and 3. The first one to increase the value, and the last one to decrease it. After briefly pressing button 4, proceed to setting the minutes as described above.
After briefly pressing the fourth key, you can set an alarm to automatically warm up the engine. If there is no need to configure this option, immediately press the mentioned button for a long time or do not touch the key fob for 10 seconds. Setting the siren volume
You must first enter the main programming menu, for which, with the ignition off, press the Valet button five times and turn on the ignition. By pressing the second or third key of the key fob, select the SO UN item on the screen. After this, the third key is pressed sequentially until a sound signal is heard, and then briefly. The desired volume level is selected using keys number 2 and 3. To exit the main menu, turn off the ignition.
How to enable and disable modes
The Starline A94 car alarm boasts a number of useful service modes - anti-robbery, immobilizer, etc. Each of them has its own activation and deactivation rules. So, to activate the anti-robbery mode, with the engine running, press the first and third buttons of the key fob simultaneously, holding them until light and sound signals appear. Or, move the cursor over the corresponding icon and briefly press key three. As a result, the vibration mode of the key fob is also activated.
Disabling anti-robbery is possible only using the Valet service button. To do this, open the car door and enter a personal code with this key - pressing it a number of times equal to each number of the code.

Setting up the shock sensor
The shock sensor in the Starline A94 anti-theft system can not only be turned off by levels, but also its sensitivity can be adjusted. To do this, first press button number 3 sequentially - the first time until a sound signal appears, and the second briefly. The appropriate sensitivity value is set using the second and third keys, the first of which is responsible for increasing it, and the last for decreasing it.

The turbo timer mode is useful for vehicles equipped with a turbocharged engine. With its help, the engine stops working smoothly while the turbines reduce speed. To activate it, you can use one of two methods:
- directly in the salon;
- using the control panel.
In the first case, to turn on the tube timer, pull the parking brake lever before turning off the ignition. The option is activated automatically.
In the second case, first get out of the car, turn off the ignition and lock the doors. After this, using the third key, set the key fob screen cursor to the icon with the image of a siren and press key number two.

How to start a car

To lock the buttons of the Starline A94 main remote control, a combination of two keys is used - the second and fourth. Each is pressed simultaneously. As a result, after a sound signal, the word “BLOCK” will appear on the screen for a few seconds.

Factory reset
You can reset the Starline A94 to factory settings, like other modern models of anti-theft systems from this manufacturer, using the Valet key and the main control panel. To do this, first turn on the ignition. Then, within a couple of tens of seconds, they find the service button and press it 10 times. - With the ignition off, press the service button 5 times.
- The ignition is activated.
- AF will appear on the screen. Using button 3, you move to the inscription SF and enter the menu.
