- When checking the operation of the ESP, special attention should be paid to the smooth movement of the glass and the sound it makes. If the moving glass creaks piercingly, it means that it is necessary to loosen the mounting bolts on the vertical rail. If the creaking does not disappear, you need to unscrew the bolts on the rail, place a couple of 2 mm high washers under them and screw the bolts into place. If the problem does not go away even after this, you should apply silicone grease to the seal from which the glass extends. Moreover, it is recommended to lubricate only the inner half of the seal (the one located in the cabin);

Hi all! I recently received my long-awaited FORWARD electric windows (hereinafter referred to as ESP). I ordered from the website steklopodem.ru, they arrived in St. Petersburg in 4 days. I am posting a report on how I installed it myself. I tried to photograph as detailed as possible.
I installed it on a VAZ-2107 car. I watched all the videos on the Internet, read a bunch of reviews and realized that it is not so difficult. But along the way, small nuances appeared, which I’ll tell you about now.
ESP themselves
First I started with the driver's door. I’m thinking about how the trim was removed and the standard window lifter was removed; no one will be interested in reading, so I’ll get to the point.
I started with drilling. I marked points using a ruler and made holes. Here was the first problem: although the car was relatively old for a VAZ (2005), the doors had managed to rust a little. As a result, the steel became thinner and it was more difficult to drill, which is why the holes turned out so crooked. But the ESP mechanism itself went in as it should and now holds up perfectly.

Then all that was left to do was just screw on the glass and connect it directly to the battery to check that it worked.
At this stage, a problem also arose: the glass lowered all the way, but at the very bottom it flew out of the guide, and could no longer rise up without the help of hands. No matter how I tried to regulate, nothing helped.
Then I realized that the guide on the bottom bolt did not hold, there was a play of 5 centimeters! I solved the problem by buying a new guide, apparently it had worn out over 10 long years of use.
At this point, the installation work ended and the most difficult part began - WIRING.

At first I decided to take the path of least resistance. “+” connected to the radio, took the ground from the door. I tried it - it didn't work. The fuse has blown. After replacing it, I tried again, everything worked. I left it like that for the first time, since I did it for more than one day (a couple of hours after work).
Then, as I made the second door (I’ll give a photo below), I noticed that the glass moved slower than on the driver’s door and another fuse burned out. I decided to connect directly to the battery.
I didn’t do it right away because I didn’t want to drill a hole for the wiring and look for a place there and generally wire it, but I had to.
To my surprise, the VAZ-2107 has a hole under the fuse block and rubber plug, through which I successfully ran the “+” wire.
