Actually, I didn’t have time to take a photo of it in its original guise. Buhan is quite new - produced in 2012. This, as it turned out, was some of the inconvenience. Somehow the designers spared the tin on the body + installed a ZMZ-409 injection engine, which took up the free space under the hood. Of which there weren’t many...
Well, let's get started. First of all, 70mm high caprolon spacers were turned on a lathe and pads were cut from 10mm rubber. In total, we received 80mm for body lifting.
Then FEDERAL Couragia 33×12.5 R15 wheels with NINGBO R15 rims were purchased. Wheel width is 8 inches. Departure -20.
The loaf body is attached to the frame at 10 points. It is attached, oddly enough (and I still don’t understand why) with furniture bolts. For those who don’t know, these are bolts with a round head... You won’t get caught in one with a key.
Also adding to the complexity was the fact that the new loaf had thick plywood on the floor. It is not possible to lock these bolts at all. Plus, the owner of the car built himself some really cool sofa boxes. But they interfered with access to the body mounting bolts.

I took a stencil according to the size of the numbers on the frame, sandblasted 2m of the frame (just in case), painted it black, like new, applied silver from a spray can, when dry, rubbed it with sand and dirt to make it slightly aged and that’s it. The traffic police had no questions. After all, the number is readable. Wasting time on examination is nonsense, and who needs our old UAZs? They can happily get to the bottom of this for unauthorized conversion of a vehicle. When I sold my UAZ 1995. 50% of it was stuffed with foreign stuff, without making any changes, but I was lucky, without any nervousness, probably because the date was January 9th.
