My respect to everyone.

The other day I started preparing my car (3151) for sale and was horrified to not find the number on the frame (chassis). More precisely, I found remnants of the paint with which it was applied (or maybe just remnants of paint). Now I have a problem, what should I do? Maybe someone had similar problems and solved them. What did this number even look like? I'm upset, according to the new traffic police regulations, the car has changed registration. You can’t register with signs, in general I’m at a dead end.

The whole problem is that even after the examination they may not be registered, since this new “convenient” technical regulation does not allow cars with changed identification numbers to be registered.

I had the same crap. I took a stencil according to the size of the numbers on the frame, sandblasted 2m of the frame (just in case), painted it black, like new, applied silver from a spray can, when dry, rubbed it with sand and dirt to make it slightly aged and that’s it. The traffic police had no questions. After all, the number is readable. Wasting time on examination is nonsense, and who needs our old UAZs? They can happily get to the bottom of this for unauthorized conversion of a vehicle. When I sold my UAZ 1995. 50% of it was stuffed with foreign stuff, without making any changes, but I was lucky, without any nervousness, probably because the date was January 9th.
