The basic configuration of the Lada Vesta Cross is equipped with a 1.6 liter engine and a manual transmission. For the model in this version, the manufacturer asks about 800,000 rubles. Design

The Lada Vesta SV Cross in the photo, like its regular sedan version, is almost identical in design, with the exception, of course, of the rear. Interior

The Lada Vesta station wagon, based on the photo of the interior, is practically no different from its version with an off-road body kit, not to mention the sedan models. From the photo, Lada Vesta looks beautiful, dignified, pleasant and quite modern. Of course, there are questions in terms of finishing and materials, but we must not forget what price category the car is from. There will be no expensive plastics, real wood, metal, leather, in the end. Banal hard plastic, with an unpleasant-to-the-touch coating.

Lada Vesta Sport, like its less charged versions, receives a decent equipment package. Here we will see modern multimedia, air conditioning and even a multifunction steering wheel. Lada Vesta Exclusive in addition receives a full-fledged climate control system with a clear and well-thought-out interface. Moreover, all this is “put together” with good ergonomics, beautiful and stylish. The new Lada Vesta SV Cross only in the basic version can disappoint, because it is equipped only with a regular radio, without any bells and whistles.

The front seats, despite the photo, are quite comfortable; riders of any height and build will be able to fit, given the wide range of adjustments. The only sofa in the back is unsuccessful, although in size it is ready to accommodate three passengers. Discomfort is caused by a sharp collapse of the roof in both the SV and sedan versions. The luggage compartment pleases not only with its correct geometric shapes, but also with its huge volume by the standards of the segment.

For both modifications, the trunk reaches 480 liters, and taking into account the ability to fold the rear backrests, more than 800 liters.

Safety:

The Autoreview newspaper published the results of a crash test of the Lada Vesta SW Cross using the unique ARCAP method.

The test standards are based on EuroNCAP - frontal impact on a 40% deformable overlap at a speed of 64 km/h (plus or minus 1 km/h).

In 2016, a Lada Vesta crash test was already carried out using this method, and then the car earned the highest rating of 4 stars and 13.9 points out of a maximum of 16. But it is worth noting that the cross-station wagon is heavier (1298 kg versus 1150 kg) and its wheels 17" installed (versus 15"). Also, all Vestas produced over the past two years have been modernized and received more durable threshold amplifiers with a thickness of 1.5 mm (versus the previous 0.8 mm).

As a result of the impact, the A-pillar of the cross body moved back by 10 mm (this is 6 mm more than that of the sedan). Individual airbags worked flawlessly. The integral criterion of head damage for both dummies did not exceed the acceptable values. The seat belts worked better than on the sedan - the compression of the ribs decreased from 28 mm to 18 mm.

Today, reviews of the Lada Vesta SV version or reviews of the Lada Vesta Cross are not very different. After all, they are assembled with the same power unit, moreover, the suspension is identical. Reviews from Lada Vesta owners may indicate a weak variator; there is still distrust of domestic automatic transmissions, so it is better to give preference to the good old “mechanics”.

Externally, the Lada Vesta SW Cross did not receive any changes in principle after the update. The station wagon retains the X-shaped stampings on the sides that are characteristic of modern AvtoVAZ models. The front of the car is decorated with large headlights, from which two steel slats descend down. They connect the air intake and the radiator grille. A characteristic feature of the Lada Vesta SW Cross is its large windshield. This is ensured by heavily “filled up” support posts.

Also, the raised stern of this model has not undergone any changes. The rear of the car is decorated with plastic bumpers with a reinforced metal insert. Trapezoidal headlights are installed slightly higher, which partially extend onto the side of the car.
