The figure seems to be good, but other Lada models sold much better. The first place belongs to Lada West, which sold more than 86 thousand copies. During this period, car enthusiasts purchased 80 thousand copies of the Lada Grant. Among its relatives, the XRay model occupied almost the last place (Lada 4x4 is only slightly inferior). That is why the company decided to change the configuration and revise the starting prices.
AvtoVAZ has announced prices and specifications for the 2022 Lada XRay Cross in a new body; the changes can be seen in the photo. In addition to the original appearance with protective plastic elements, the new crossover has a special interior configuration and a wide range of equipment. The package also includes a completely new driving mode switch.
Model history and time of entry into the market of the new Lada XRay Cross
Lada XRAY Cross is a subcompact all-terrain vehicle that has a number of advantages of a stylish city hatchback. The target audience is residents of large cities who need tall cars to travel both around the city and on country roads.
On the eve of National Unity Day, sales of the new, improved X Ray Cross car will begin in dealership showrooms. The new product is entering the Russian market under the slogan “Lada. New Horizons”, which initially informs the buyer about the off-road characteristics of the car. Since the beginning of production, the X Rey belonged to an indeterminate class: a high hatchback or a crossover.

The basic Optima package includes a proprietary audio system with MP3, hands free and Bluetooth, an on-board computer and front electric windows. Technical characteristics of Lada X-ray Cross 2018-2019
The new Lada cross-hatchback will be equipped with a 1.8-liter engine with an output of 122 hp. and 170 Nm. It will be accompanied by a 5-speed manual transmission or a robotic gearbox. Equipped with a 1.8-liter engine, the Xray Cross accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 10.6 seconds (manual) or 12.6 seconds (robot). Top speed is limited to 180 and 176 km/h respectively. When equipped, the weight of the Cross version of the X-ray reaches 1300 kg.

The suspension of the new VAZ product was borrowed from the Renault Sandero (the new Lada is being built on the basis of the hatch), while it has different springs and shock absorbers, as a result of which the XRAY “completely lost the legendary Logan’s rolliness.”
An important point on the Lada Xray is the non-disabled traction control system TCS (or traction control as many call it).
