Also, do not forget about the additional characteristics of rubber, such as: noise, wear resistance and the ability to resist hydroplaning. All of them create comfort and, most importantly, traffic safety. For the Kalina I model with a tire pressure monitoring system, it is possible to install runflat tires, which, if damaged, allow you to drive 50 km at speeds of up to 80 km/h.

Reviews from car owners
Buyers note in their reviews a number of positive qualities of 14-inch summer tires:
Please note that the benefits of oversized tires vary by manufacturer and model. For example, when replacing Kama model R13 tires with R14 products from the same manufacturer, the car owner will not feel the difference.
Disadvantages also depend on the tire model used, road conditions, and driving style (for example, tires with a road tread pattern should not be expected to perform well in mud or waterlogged soil).

Conventionally, all rubber can be divided into winter and summer with a characteristic tread pattern, tire composition and its main technical parameters. In addition, quality is considered an important property, since not every manufacturer can guarantee the reliability and practicality of their products.
The Lada Kalina car is a combination of reasonable cost, practicality and functionality, and therefore the consumer receives many technical advantages. Below is a table of possible tire sizes for this vehicle.
Meeting place can not be Changed
As usual, we carry out tests of summer tires at the AVTOVAZ test site (not far from Tolyatti) in August-September.
The carrier car is structurally close to most domestic front-wheel drive Lada Granta cars. Year after year, it confidently ranks among the top three best-selling models in Russia. Of the electronic assistants, the test Grant has only ABS.
Our task is to determine which inexpensive tires will have decent performance, and which ones you need to be wary of.
TREADWEAR INDEX
The Treadwear wear resistance coefficient used in the USA is not mandatory in our country, and therefore is rarely found on tires for the Russian market.
Wear resistance is determined using a technique called “convoy”. A pair of cars (one on test tires, the other on “base”), following each other, covers the mileage along a special route laid in the vicinity of the city of San Angelo (Texas). Experts periodically measure the tread depth. During the test, the position of the tires on the car changes, the order of cars in the “caravan” alternates, the test and control sets are rearranged from one car to another. Only the driver's serial number remains unchanged. At the same time, the air pressure in the tires and the wheel alignment angles of the “escort” vehicles are monitored and, if necessary, adjusted to normal. Testing ends when the vehicle reaches 6,400 miles (10,300 km). Based on the results obtained, the wear rate is determined and the expected maximum mileage is calculated.
Technical specialists from tire companies are skeptical about the wear resistance coefficient, considering it a value that is not related to the actual service life of the tires, since, they say, these tests do not take into account how road conditions and driving style affect rubber wear. But he’s interesting to us, isn’t it? That's why we indicate it in the results table - for those tires for which we were able to obtain information. Nordman and Landsail turned out to be the most wear-resistant.
What tire sizes does the manufacturer recommend to install?
The manufacturers of the Lada Kalina car tried to work on the technical part, so now the consumer receives a wide range of options and offers.
- The standard “Zhigulevsky” version is car tires size 175/70R13. This is a classic that will always be in fashion due to the combination of its attractiveness, practicality and technical features.
- The second option is more suitable for VAZ cars - 175/65R14, and such tires are very often found on Lada Kalina, since this emphasizes sophistication and sophistication.
- The third standard tire option for Lada Kalina cars is 185/65R15.
All other tire options cannot be called standard, so they are not always suitable for Lada cars, as they combine some inconveniences for subsequent use. An important point is that the Lada car does not always tolerate experiments, so it is better to use the classics. But there are also certain non-standard options that have a right to exist.
The main thing is to stop in time
We clear the trajectory by braking ten times on “duty” tires and only then start measuring the braking distance: first on wet asphalt from a speed of 80 km/h, then on dry asphalt from 100 km/h. In each case, we complete the measurement when the speed drops to 5 km/h in order to exclude the influence of unstable ABS operation, which allows partial blocking of the wheels at low speed. On each surface we perform five to seven approaches, cooling the brakes after each.
On wet roads, Grant had the shortest braking distance (25.4 m) with Continental
.
A full meter less than its nearest rival - Nokian
.
The most “unstoppable” was Achilles
(32.5 m), which was 7.1 meters behind the leader, or 28%. The difference with the best result is more than one and a half car lengths!
Dry asphalt confirmed the positions of the leaders: Continental
— 38.1 meters;
Nokian
- 40.7 meters.
The most modest “achievement” is that of Viatti
: 44.1 meters. On dry land, the gap between the best and worst results was only six meters (16%).
In these exercises, premium participants confirmed their status, and inexpensive ones, with the exception of GT Radial
, performed poorly. Especially on wet surfaces.
What non-standard sizes can be supplied?
Non-standard sizes of winter and summer tires are acceptable on the Lada Kalina, if you choose them correctly among the entire range provided. At the moment, manufacturers have tried to expand the boundaries of their offerings in order to prove themselves to potential customers. The following options for non-standard winter and summer tires are distinguished:
- The R16 is a large diameter wheel, which raises the car's suspension slightly, resulting in a soft and smooth ride.
- Small radii are an opportunity to lower the vehicle, while emphasizing its practicality, but it is not recommended to use the car at such a low “landing” in impassable terrain, since there is a possibility of damage to the front and rear bumpers.
Summer tires differ from winter tires in that they remain stable on the track, despite the increased temperature of the surface, which heats up the rubber and can cause it to stick to the surface. In winter, it is important to ensure good grip on slippery roads, while preventing the car from skidding on a poorly cleaned road surface.
What to look for when purchasing
When selecting and purchasing, you should consider:
- the type of tread on which the vehicle’s cross-country ability depends;
- index of load capacity and speed (for example, for Grant or Kalina passenger cars, tires marked 82T or 82H are required, which can withstand acceleration to 190 and 210 km/h);
- date of manufacture (it is not recommended to purchase tires manufactured more than 30 months ago due to the natural aging of the rubber compound);
- external condition of the treadmill, sidewalls (cracks or traces of mechanical damage are not allowed).
What is the tire pressure
The Lada Kalina car, like any other, requires careful technical preparation, and the tires must be inflated to a certain level in order to maintain maneuverability, practicality and safety on the track. It is also considered an important property that the pressure level can be adjusted depending on the terrain, while creating characteristic technical conveniences in this matter.
The correct choice of tire pressure is a guarantee of their safe and practical use. Normal, that is, medium pressure, is the best option for maneuverable driving to obtain practicality and convenience when driving a vehicle. If the tires have low pressure, then maneuverability is reduced and the car can go off the road when driving at high speed, creating characteristic dangers.
If we talk about very high pressure, it can lead to cracking of the tire, so the motorist requires careful attention to the technical parameters. A car consists of different devices and materials, which is why special attention to detail is required in this matter, and therefore special attention to the main points is necessary.
Along the country road
We drive off the asphalt onto the dirt road to evaluate the capabilities of the tires on unpaved roads. On an uphill slope of 12%, we try to start and accelerate several times in different modes - with and without slipping. We evaluate the confidence of start and movement, as well as how sharply the wheels begin to slip and how much grip is reduced. Considering the asphalt purpose of the tires, we do not include the obtained points in the overall standings and present them as additional information.
In these conditions, Granta rides most confidently on Sava
,
Nordman
and
Viatti
.
Moreover, on the Sava it pulls briskly even with intense slipping. Dunlop
turned out to be the most timid on the dirt road: the Granta suddenly slips, while traction is significantly reduced. We do not recommend driving off the asphalt on such tires.
Review of the best summer and winter tires
Car tires require special care when choosing, and that is why care is needed here. Lada Kalina puts forward its own requirements for car tires, so it is important to consider the points individually when selecting winter and summer options.
Basic summer tires
Nokian Hakka Green 2 is a popular option for summer car tires that ideally combines quality, reliability, practicality and functionality. Reasonable cost and quality from manufacturers are the main advantages.
Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 is the second most important option, the cost of which is an order of magnitude higher than that of the Nokian, but at the same time the quality is slightly different, inferior by literally a couple of points.
Formula Energy is an option that is almost half the cost of the previous one, but is in no way inferior in quality. If you are on a limited budget, this tire option will be ideal.
Hankook Kinergy Eco 2 are well-known summer tires for cars, and they combine quality, reliability, attractiveness and affordable price. All this became the basis for the development of popularity. But, as practice shows, there are certain differences in quality, so it’s difficult to call such rubber durable.
Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance is a combination of a well-known brand and a fairly high cost because of it, so there is a need to rationally consider the options. It is also important to note that the quality, as practice has shown, is slightly different from current offers.
Basic winter tires
The right choice of winter tires for Lada Kalina cars is an opportunity to gain practicality and safety when driving. If we talk about the main options of appropriate quality, then it is worth highlighting the following models:
Continental ContiIceContact 2 is a well-known model that has been able to conquer its consumers with its high quality and reliability.
Avatyre Freeze is a domestic studded model designed for harsh road surfaces.
Sava Eskimo Stud - high quality Polish tires at a reasonable price.
Aeolus Ice Challenger is a Chinese tire model that ideally combines cost and technicality.
Yokohama iceGUARD iG55 are Japanese tire models that have proven themselves on Lada Kalina cars.
As a result, it must be said that Lada Kalina car tires are the ideal combination of reasonable cost and reliability, thanks to which the consumer receives many technical conveniences. But it is important to carefully consider the choice, since there are really many offers on the modern car market.

Appetite and comfort assessment
Let's start measuring fuel efficiency. On a two-kilometer horizontal section, we “roll” each set in three or four runs, including two measurements in the forward and reverse directions.
, GT Radial tires turned out to be more economical than others
,
Laufenn
,
Nokian
and
Sailun
: Granta's appetite did not exceed 4.1 l/100 km.
She was the most voracious on Viatt
i.
When driving “outside the city” (90 km/h), Sailun
with a result of 5.3 l/100 km, confirming the ECO prefix in the name.
There are several anti-heroes at this speed - Achilles
,
Cordiant
,
Sava
and
Viatt
i. With them, Granta’s consumption increased to 5.6 l/100 km.
Continental tires roll the quietest
, without causing any complaints.
about Dunlop

Nokian
and
Nordman
due to a slightly increased overall noise level.
Sailun
tires make the most noise . They loudly sound coarse asphalt and any defects in the road surface.
Tires for Lada Kalina: how to choose the best option
It's time for a seasonal tire change. It is not news to anyone that in winter the car must be operated on tires specially designed for this period. It is important to have an idea of which tires are optimal for the Lada Kalina, since the competent choice of these accessories is of great importance.
Let's rush to the next row!
The final test is traditionally a changeover - changing lanes from one lane to another: we evaluate the lateral grip properties, as well as the influence of the tires on the behavior of the car during extreme maneuvering.
The driver starts the exercise at a low speed, which makes it easy to maneuver, and increases it with each run by 1–2 km/h until the car begins to move beyond the corridors marked with cones. The task is to reach the maximum speed of successful lane change and confirm it in the next race. In this case, the expert evaluates Granta’s behavior and then assigns points.
Continental received equally high marks
and
Nokian
. On them, the car moves predictably, remaining controllable even when sliding.
The dry coating changed the situation a little. Grant achieved the highest speed of rearrangement on Nokian
— 75.2 km/h.
The worst result was shown by Achilles
- 68.8 km/h.
Notes on the handling of outsiders - Achilles
,
Sailun
and
Landsail
remain the same.
And the behavior of the favorites has changed a little. Continental
tires became less flexible: it slipped a little with its front wheels at the very beginning of the maneuver and abruptly fell into a small skid after changing lanes.
Such changes in behavior prevented the driver from exceeding the maximum speed achieved on wet asphalt. We believe that these tires are designed to work with electronic stabilization systems that prevent slipping. Driving the Granta on Nokian
was slightly complicated by a slight skid in the second corridor.
The results of the final extreme exercise exposed the weaknesses of inexpensive tires. They failed to provide reliable handling, which remained a strength of the premium members. In addition, three out of six cheap models are unsafe for extreme maneuvers.
Car modifications
Lada Kalina was produced for 14 years. The manufacturer offered the consumer two generations of small class cars.
First generation
The debut car of the Kalina family appeared at AvtoVAZ in 2004. It was released as a sedan. The first generation cars were equipped with 1.4 liter (89 hp) and 1.6 liter (81 and 98 hp) petrol engines. In 2006, Kalina hatchbacks appeared, the next year - station wagons, and a year later - a sports modification. Depending on the configuration, the car was equipped with ABS, electronic power steering, airbags, and an air conditioning system. During production, changes were constantly made to the equipment of the vehicle. In 2009 and 2011, Lada Kalina became one of the best-selling brands in the country.
Second generation
In 2013, the plant's conveyor belt was modernized to begin production of the next generation of cars. LADA Kalina 2 was produced in hatchback and station wagon bodies. It is characterized by a more modern appearance, better aerodynamics and increased comfort. Improved powertrain, suspension and gearbox are distinctive features of the vehicle compared to previous generation models. Both hatchbacks and station wagons were equipped with 1.6 liter engines with variable intake, the power of which varied between 87...106 hp. A manual or automatic transmission was installed.
The maximum configuration included the installation of anti-lock systems, stability control, air conditioning and navigation, a traction control module, an after-braking system, a passenger airbag, a touch screen, heated front seats, a rain sensor, etc.
The latest modification of the Kalina family is the Lada Kalina Cross. It is distinguished by increased ground clearance, a modified final drive ratio and a more aesthetic appearance, for example, due to decorative trims on the wheel arches and sills.
In 2022, production of Kalina family cars was discontinued.
Test results of the tires reviewed
Car magazines annually test tires of different sizes intended for summer use. Testing is carried out at test sites that allow simulating changing road conditions.
To measure indicators, special equipment that has passed preliminary testing is used.
The experiments are carried out at air temperatures ranging from +20°...25°C; the tire carrier in the test in question is a Grant car with a 106-horsepower gasoline engine with a manual gearbox and an ABS system.
When checking tires with dimensions 185x60 R14, the following results were obtained:
Factory recommendations for choosing tires and wheels
The behavior of a car on the road is largely determined by the characteristics of the wheels installed on it, especially the tires.
The answer to the question regarding the equipment of the Lada Kalina: which wheels are suitable can be found in the manufacturer's instructions. The factory documentation for Lada Kalina indicates three types of tires recommended for installation:
- one of the popular options, also installed on classics, is 175/70R13 tires;
- the most common tire size today is 175/65R14;
- another standard option is 185/65R15.
The plant also allows the Lada Kalina to be equipped with 185/60R14 and 185/55 R15 tires.
What size tires are Lada Kalina Cross? It is recommended to install tires with overall dimensions of 195/55R15 on this model.
For the Lada Kalina Sport car, the factory has established its own standards:
An important question regarding the Lada Kalina: which wheels are suitable? Lada Kalina cars are factory equipped with steel wheels with a diameter of 13 or 14 inches, aluminum wheels 14″ or (sports version) wheels with alloy wheels 15 inches.
Decoding tire markings
On the side surface of the tire there is an identification marking containing information about:
For example, the European designation 195/60R14С 84T indicates the following characteristics:
In addition to standard markings, special designations may be used. For example, on tires with a profile height increased to 80%, the percentage value is not indicated on the sidewall.
If the tire is produced for the American market, then the marking indicates the outer diameter of the wheel in inches, after which the tread width is indicated (in the same measurement system).
An example of a tire designation for the US or Canadian market is 35/12.5R15 113Q (rim size, speed and load capacity indices correspond to European ones).
Tire pressure Kalina
This indicator plays an important role in car controllability. The grip of the tires on the road surface depends on the tire pressure. The condition of the wheels is especially important when driving on wet, slippery or snowy roads. During vehicle operation, tire pressure may drop, so its value must be periodically checked with a pressure gauge. If the indicator deviates from the standard values, the wheels should be inflated. It's not that difficult to do it yourself.
The pressure in the wheels installed on the front and rear axles is different.
The corresponding section of the instructions indicates what pressure in the Lada Kalina tires must be maintained: in the front - 2.2 bar, in the rear - 2.3 bar. This should be done if you are installing standard factory tires.
If the owner of the iron horse has equipped the car with tires with a wide profile, it is recommended to stick to the values of 2.4/2.5 (for front/rear tires). Narrow or low profile tires should be inflated a little less: 1.8…2/2…2.2 (front/rear) bar.
Operating a vehicle in different climatic conditions also affects the recommended level of tire pressure. For winter it should be 2/2.2 bar, for summer - 2.1...2.2/2.2...2.3 bar. This applies to standard tires.
Information about what pressure should be maintained can be found not only in the instructions for the vehicle, but also on the door pillar (on the plate).
The table below clearly demonstrates what pressure should be provided in the tires of the Lada Kalina station wagon and other modifications of this family, as well as other characteristics of the wheels of these cars.
table-02
THE FINAL
Now let’s determine how many additional kilometers an electric car can run on these tires. We allow only three participants to participate in skeet races - the basic Kama (it will have to play the role of a stove from which people dance), the best-handling “wide” ContiEcoContact 5 and the most economical Barum.
The results are quite interesting! Continental ContiEcoContact 5 tires of the same width as the base tires increase the car's mileage by more than 10 km, and the narrower Barum Brillantis 2 by almost 30 km!
The test has been completed and the results have been sent to the factory. Let's see what tires AVTOVAZ will choose. We hope you find this work useful when choosing inexpensive new tires.
What's inside Hellas?
An asynchronous motor with a power of 60 kW accelerates the car to 130 km/h. The cruising range in the European driving cycle at an ambient temperature of +20...+45 ºС is 140 km.
Lithium-ion batteries are located in the engine compartment and under the rear seat in place of the fuel tank. Full charging time from a household electrical outlet is from 8 to 10 hours. Base tires are 175/65 R14.
Tire saving
Continental has created a prototype of an electric car based on the Renault Megane platform. The electric motor of our own design produces 70 kW. The range in the European driving cycle is 150 km. A special feature of the electric vehicle is tires with super-low rolling resistance Conti.eContact with a dimension of 195/55 R20. Mounted on closed wheels that reduce aerodynamic losses, they reduced rolling resistance by a third compared to conventional tires, which increased the range by 10%.
We express our gratitude to Continental and Yokohama for providing tires for testing.

Tire options for Lada Kalina
Every car owner must understand that in order to operate his iron horse in winter and summer, he must have different sets of tires. This is explained by the different compositions of the mixtures used for the production of winter and summer tires, which determines their characteristics at different temperatures.
There are a lot of tire options for Kalina available today. When choosing a model, you need to focus on the operating characteristics of the vehicle and the condition of the roads.
Kama tires were most often installed at the factory. When selecting new ones, you can also consider this brand, however, both foreign and domestic manufacturers offer more interesting options.
Summer tires
The range of tires for summer use is wide, you can choose an option to suit every taste and budget.
TUNGA ZODIAK 2
If the cost of tires is an important factor, we recommend paying attention to these summer tires. They were released relatively recently (in 2022). During the development, it was the difficult Russian operating conditions that were taken into account. Three stiffening ribs, tread features and the composition of the outer layer increase the reliability of the wheels. However, judging by consumer reviews, tires behave poorly when braking on wet asphalt.
Continental Conti Premium Contact 5
If you figure out which tires are suitable for Lada Kalina when operating in the summer, this option seems very worthy. The rubber has a short braking distance on both dry and wet road surfaces, low rolling resistance, and a good service life. An acceptable level of driving comfort on these tires and excellent car handling are noted by car enthusiasts.
Michelin Pilot Sport 3
Economy, excellent handling, excellent grip on various types of road surfaces are the characteristics of these tires. The name itself implies the possibility of using rubber for extreme driving. Poor resistance to aquaplaning causes complaints.
Winter tires
Depending on the conditions under which you plan to operate the car in winter, the type of tire is selected. For driving on icy roads, it is recommended to consider studded tires. If you plan to travel on cleared roads, Velcro is quite suitable.
Kleber Kapnor 5
The tires produced (by Michelin) for quite a long time are still popular. The location of the studs provides good grip on icy surfaces. But both on dry roads and when driving in slushy snow, the tires are characterized by decent cross-country ability, handling and directional stability. The spikes hold quite firmly. Among the shortcomings, the model is excessively noisy. If you need to decide which winter tires are best for the Lada Kalina, it is recommended to pay attention to these winter tires.
Gislaved Nord Frost 5
The tread pattern, the features of the studs, the patented composition of the rubber mixture for the tread - all this allows the wheels to perform excellently when braking (on dry and wet roads), and provides excellent grip on icy and snowy surfaces. The model is characterized by decent directional stability, high wear resistance and an acceptable level of comfort. Among the disadvantages, we can note the increased fuel consumption of a car equipped with this tire, as well as a high percentage of studs flying out.
Nokian Nordman 4
Soft and fairly quiet studded tires show good driving performance when driving on snow. It also holds up well on wet roads and icy surfaces. The studs are widely distributed, which increases traction efficiency and reduces noise levels (the latter is also ensured by the presence of an elastic pad under the stud). As a disadvantage, we can note the rather weak fastening of the spikes.
Goodyear UltraGrip Ice 2
Velcro also performs well in extreme conditions. It copes well with slush and snowdrifts and handles well on wet roads. The rubber has a low noise level and good durability, and copes well with aquaplaning. The model is one of the best non-studded ones.
Those who live in a region with warm winters can be advised to install all-season tires. For example, the Matador MPS125 Variant All Weather would be a good option. Decent directional stability, behavior on wet and dry road surfaces and noise levels, as well as ease of balancing characterize these tires. The model's service life is about 80 thousand km. Along with the advantages, there is increased fuel consumption and a fairly high price (for domestic products).
There are many tire options for different seasons. Each Lada Kalina owner can choose the one that suits him, depending on his financial capabilities and operating conditions of the car.

Selecting tires for Lada Ellada: electrocross
Hellas?
Is she still alive? Imagine! The electric car, created on the basis of the Lada-1118 station wagon, is produced by AVTOVAZ OPP. So far, only a pilot batch of one hundred vehicles has been made. All of them were ordered by the administration of the Stavropol Territory to work as an ecological taxi in the resort park of Kislovodsk. For some reason, the Stavropol residents purchased only five cars, abandoning the rest. After this turn, the plant handed over 40 cars to dealers in the Central and Southern Federal Districts as test cars to study demand. The rest are waiting for their buyers. The price of Hellas is 960 thousand rubles. But there is one thing: not everyone will sell a car. Only a legal entity can purchase it, and without the right to resell - this was done so that the manufacturer could monitor the sold electric vehicles during operation.
The second generation Hellas is being prepared for release, which will also be available to individuals - to order through AVTOVAZ dealers.
WE GET GOOD WITH HELLAS
Driving Hellas is simple and pleasant. At speeds up to 80 km/h it pulls like a good diesel car. Acceleration is powerful but smooth, there is not a hint of the jerkiness inherent in cars with an automatic transmission. The steering is Kalinovsky, with electric power steering.
It accelerates to 40 km/h almost silently, and later a slight hum, reminiscent of a trolleybus, appears. The electric motor produces maximum torque from zero speed, so Hellas is capable of super-slow movement, unattainable even for SUVs on a lower row of the transfer case. And this despite the fact that Hellas does not have a gearbox - the transmission ratio is unchanged.
By releasing the gas pedal, you can set the coasting mode - as if in “neutral”. In it, the car does not consume electricity, but also does not recharge the batteries.
When the gas is fully released, engine braking occurs. The electric motor switches to generator mode, generating electricity and recharging the battery. With some skill, you use the brakes less than on a car with an internal combustion engine. The standard brake system is traditional, with a vacuum booster.
Minor twitching is felt only when driving roughly in the gas-brake mode, when the recuperation mode is switched on and off frequently. And in a calm rhythm, Hellas, even in traffic jams, moves more softly and smoothly than an ordinary car with a well-tuned automatic transmission.
Why did Hellas need new tires? To save precious electricity!
THEORY.
Is it possible to increase the range of an electric car with special tires? In theory, the answer is clear to everyone, but what in practice? Which shoes should I choose?
Now Kama-217 tires are installed on Hellas - they were chosen from among those certified for Kalina because they roll better. Which ones can you prefer - so that they roll even better, but are not prohibitively expensive?
Our test group was brought into this work because we have been testing tires for a decade and a half. At the general council, they discussed the characteristics of the basic Kama-217 tire with dimension 175/65 R14 82N: permissible wheel load - 475 kg, speed limit - 210 km/h. And we specified the task: we will choose tires with a more modest speed limit (T index, 190 km/h), since the electric car will still not be able to reach 200 km/h. But - with a load index of 84 (at least 500 kg per wheel). In terms of four wheels, it will be plus 100 kg. After all, a fully equipped electric car is 110 kg heavier than its gasoline counterpart. And its total weight, even taking into account the reduction in the number of riders to four, exceeds 1600 kg.
And one more important point. We decided to turn our attention to narrower tires measuring 165/70 R14 - they have lower aerodynamic resistance
. AND PRACTICE
Tires with a load index of 84 are a dime a dozen in this size range, but almost all of them are designed for light delivery trucks. This means that they will not roll as well as an electric car needs.
Passenger tires with the required characteristics can be counted on the fingers of one hand: these are Continental ContiEcoContact 5, Barum Brillantis 2 (the second line of the same Continental), Yokohama BluEarth and one model of the Chinese brand Aeolus. Even Michelin, known for its commitment to the environment, does not offer such tires.
Choice of Summer tires
Hello everyone! I appeal to the community of “practitioners”
