In addition, the steering wheel can be covered with leather to make it attractive, but to get a quality result you will have to visit a specialized service. You can also resort to a simpler option - installing a ready-made cover. The product is quite simply mounted, tightened with threads, and, if necessary, removed without any problems. Armrest

Another interior element that can be improved during the tuning process is the armrest. The choice of this part today is quite diverse, but since such products are mainly made in China, the use of such a product can lead to the most negative impressions. The fact is that the body of the armrests is made of plastic, which cracks when exposed to the sun. The fastening of the part also leaves much to be desired. When opening and closing, a creak appears, the objects inside make a rather loud ringing sound, which also does not bring any pleasure. Despite many shortcomings, Chinese armrests can be modified if desired, eliminating the negative aspects. To do this, the internal space is lined with dense foam rubber, and the outside of the product is sheathed with any finishing material (fabric, leather, Alcantara, etc.).

The first tuned Grants - do not deny yourself anything!

The first budget Lada Granta appeared on mass sale relatively recently. Therefore, there is relatively little data on possible tuning variations for this brand. But already on the basis of some photos taken from the Internet, we can draw conclusions - there really is somewhere for those who like modifications to roam. And although there are still few factory parts for tuning on the open market, cunning “tuners” have learned to get out even in such difficult situations.

The first part of the car that the hands of folk craftsmen touch is the body. On the streets of the city you can already see cars repainted in the most unexpected colors - from matte black to bright pink. But the “crown” of all creations is still considered to be Granta, covered with gold film. The car “a la gold bar” is a kind of attempt to show one’s respectability and presentability. Indeed, such a tuning variation cannot but attract attention on the road, colorfully standing out in the crowd of ordinary factory stampings. The second stage of the transformation is lowering the vehicle's seating position. By the way, the author of this experiment is the same owner of the “golden” Lada Granta. Replacing the springs and standard shock absorber struts made it possible to at least visually bring the budget Russian car closer to the famous Audi R8. And although many drivers consider this stage of tuning to be something akin to suicide (considering the state of our roads), the result obtained exceeded all expectations.

The stumbling block in refining the factory Granta was the wheel rims. Most restylers agreed that the designers paid enough attention to the development of the body. But it’s still better to replace light-alloy wheels that match the body color. And you can complete the new look with the help of a stylish spoiler, borrowed from the sports version.

Well, and of course – where would we be without the popular replacement of lighting fixtures! Different types of lighting allow you to present your car in a completely new look. The tinted windows, headlights and fog lights installed on the Grant from the new Kalina look good. You can limit yourself to purely visual modification of the optics using special eyelashes for headlights.
