But, I wanted to install this pillow since spring, but then my father dissuaded me. Now I’ve decided that it’s still necessary. All supports are in good condition, i.e. There are no questions about the “movements” of the engine, but for greater reliability I still decided to ask. Before servicing, I washed the car so as not to wipe it down, and it’s not good to drive around dirty forever.

For the installation itself we need: 1) VAZ 2110 rear engine support assembly (JSC BRT) 2110-1001286RU
2) Bolt M12x75 2 pcs. 3) Bolt M10x25 2 pcs.
But, it’s better to take x30 or x35. I barely had enough. Maybe I'll replace these bolts with longer ones later. 4) Self-locking nut M12 2 pcs. 5) Body washer (wide) M12 4 pcs. 6) Body washer (wide) M10 6 pcs. I didn’t have enough, luckily I found 4 more in the garage, so take it with a reserve.
On to the installation. I didn’t want to remove the protection, but I realized that without it it would be faster and easier. He threw it off. All installation holes are there, nothing to drill, buy in addition, etc. no need, just screw on the pillow.
First, the support bracket is screwed to the box with 2 M12x75 bolts and M12 nuts, and we hang an M12 washer on each side. One washer will have to be partially ground off, since the gearbox housing will not allow it to be installed. The grinder works for about 20 seconds.
The bracket is first screwed in order to then know how many washers to put between the body and the holder, because This pillow is used as a support pillow. If you screw it to the floor, it will pull the gearbox with the engine, as a result, all the pillows will be under constant load. We are installing it for another support, in this case, so that the engine does not “tip over” when starting and releasing the gas. Here too, after securing the bracket, there is a gap between the holder and the body.
Place the washers. In my case it is 4 pieces. between the body and the holder and 1 pc. under the bolt head. As I wrote above, 25mm of bolt length is not enough; if the gap were smaller, it would be suitable. I would advise you to either estimate right away, or take several different pairs of bolts.
This completes the installation of this support. Since the car was hung up, I also decided to adjust the gearbox linkage, because... After installing the repair kit, the speeds began to work somehow strangely; I often turned on the reverse instead of the first and vice versa.
I adjusted it using the clamp, released it, turned the slide in a circular motion and set it the way I wanted. It turned out that it was exactly in the middle position.
Tighten and check. All gears click like butter. Then I stopped at a gas station and filled up until the tank was full =)
As a result, the gears are switched on clearly, as they should. When starting and releasing the gas, the engine does not “overturn”; as a result, the gearshift knob in the cabin does not “jump”. It also began to rattle less at speed, apparently, the adjustment gave results, because now there is no noticeable play in the handle.
