If you install the Lambo mechanism correctly with your own hands, it will not touch the hood, wings or other surfaces of the VAZ 2108. The structure is secured with bolts. The hinges are attached to the body in three ways, either by bolts, or by welding, or a combination. The most reliable method is a combined one. You first install the hinges on the bolts, and after adjusting them, weld them together.

These doors will serve you for as long as possible. True, in this case you may need either a welder or a welding machine. Therefore, this method is not always suitable.

After you have decided on the option of mounting the hinges, remove the front fenders of the car.

Clean the area where the hinges are mounted under the wings. For this operation you will need a grinder. If the place where the hinges are attached falls under an uneven part of the body and trim, then a metal plate will need to be welded to this place.

In general, the installation location of the hinges under the wings should be reinforced in any case, since according to the design of the car, the thickness of the metal in these places is insufficient. When making homemade hinges, you will need shock absorbers to hold the doors.

In general, the order of preliminary work when installing lambo hinges looks like this:
