  • The VAZ-2114 provides heating for the interior, windshield and legs.

Important! If the stove fan fails, the entire heating system of the VAZ-2114 stops working. Stopping the fan does not allow air heated by the radiator to penetrate inside in normal quantities. Instead of the usual 5–10 minutes, heating takes several hours.

How to check if the switch is working properly

  1. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, unscrew the 3 screws that securely secure the left center console screen.
  2. Remove the trim, and then remove the protrusion located at the bottom from the body bracket.
  3. Continue working with a Phillips screwdriver - remove the 5 screws secured in the right console trim and remove the screen.
  4. Disconnect the terminal that goes to the negative wire of the VAZ-2115 battery. If there is a radio receiver here, remove it and disconnect the harness block using a wire, or remove the plug container from the panel.
  5. Next, your task is to disconnect the plug from the cigarette lighter. The socket of the lamp illuminating the ashtray is removed.
  6. Pull the handle off the levers using a narrow screwdriver.
  7. Pull the handle that activates the electric fan switch of the VAZ-2115 stove in your direction, and then pry it lightly with a screwdriver.

  1. First of all, disconnect the negative terminal from the battery;
