Lada Vesta body color phantom
Photos of a Lada Vesta in phantom color published on the Internet immediately attracted increased attention. Potential buyers who have not yet seen the “ghost” car in person are already eager to see it. The AvtoVAZ model has acquired a whole palette of new shades. Some of them were first used on the Togliatti sedan.
Body color "Phantom"
The color scheme of new AvtoVAZ cars never ceases to amaze even the most experienced car enthusiast. Most of the body colors are metallic, which in itself is an achievement and discovery for the domestic manufacturer. But AvtoVAZ presented several more new color solutions for its cars. To strengthen the surface and improve anti-corrosion properties, on the Lada Vesta the plant began to use a new body painting technology using cataphoresis. Cataphoresis is the most technologically advanced way to protect a product from corrosion. This technology allows AvtoVAZ to extend the warranty on the protection of the car’s coating for six years, which, again, is an innovation for the Russian automobile industry.

And this is what the Lada Vesta SV Cross looks like in the phantom color in the photo:
Undoubtedly, photographs will not be able to convey all the beauty, but I think you can get a general idea.
What is the Lada Vesta SV Cross Phantom?
Undoubtedly, the color of the phantom Lada Vesta SV can be considered unique. The uniqueness of the paint is due to the fact that it can change its shade. The base color is dark grey. In low light or at night, the car will look ordinary monotonous. But as soon as you add light, the shade of the paint will change. Color changes can be observed from dark brown to orange. A change in color can also be noticed when the viewing angle changes. Agree, a very unusual feature? Especially for AvtoVAZ.
- Lada “Eggplant” is a stylish and versatile color option that will suit everyone. The car looks expensive, and at the same time it feels like it is made with taste. The color “Eggplant” is able to impress every buyer from a young man to a pensioner.
- Agate is a beautiful metallic color. Lada Agat will appeal to people with refined taste.
- “Pluto” is what the manufacturers called the dark gray Lada Vesta. This car looks strict and simple, in contrast to the Lime color model.
- “Carnelian” is a red Vesta.
The new Russian car has a very rich color range, which includes options that can satisfy the tastes of completely different segments of the population, both young people (Lime) and the older generation (“Angkor”, “eggplant”). There are options that girls and women will like: red and yellow. And also universal colors that will suit everyone, such as “Pluto” and “Eggplant”.

Lada Vesta SV cross color Carthage
The range of Vesta colors has been replenished with two shades: Carthage and Mars. Mars is a bright orange tone. This color can be ordered for one modification of Vesta: Lada Vesta SV CROSS. The Lada Vesta SW station wagon and the Lada Vesta SW CROSS SUV are produced in Carthage coloring.
Other Vesta body shades:
Traditional colors are white, black, silver (glacial, black pearl, platinum). Shades of gray - Pluto and Carthage. Orange-red bodies – carnelian and mars. Dark chocolate shade - Angkor.
Green tones are krypton and lime. Dark blue is blues, light blue and orange are phantom, silver is platinum.
The names have a deep meaning. They either characterize the shade or determine the value of the model.
The color white, renamed glacial, creates an association of pure arctic whiteness.
The black mother-of-pearl body is a hint of an expensive, sophisticated item.
Carnelian is red with an orange tint. The mineral, after which the enamel paint is named, has been revered since ancient times as a stone with magical properties. These same qualities, according to the manufacturer, should be transferred to the car. Its owner will feel more confident in the general traffic flow.
Mars is the god of war and aggression. The latest development of AvtoVAZ, the Lada SV CROSS in this color carries a charge of energy that is not found in other modifications.
A phantom is an elusive and mysterious image. A car painted in this way is unrecognizable when the brightness of the light changes: from bluish to sparkling orange.
Angkor is the repository of the deity. The dark chocolate tone carries solemnity and life affirmation. This type of machine requires special care to maintain its appearance.
Lada in lime color means the most expensive package. The cheerful and slightly frivolous appearance of the handsome car attracts young drivers hungry for adventure.
Blues. A musical style characterized by modulations and a philosophical mood. Metallic blue shades evoke the mysterious depths of the sea.
The silver body is an uplifting color that indicates the quality of the car.
The metallic tint of krypton and pluto gives the shades depth and nobility.
Lada Vesta SV CROSS in Carthage color is a car striving for future achievements.
↑ Coverage quality of Lada Vesta
Reviews from Lada owners and those who managed to see the chameleon shade in person indicate that such a car visually stands out in traffic and attracts attention. Anyone who first assessed the exterior of Vesta in the classic configuration, in comparison with other sedans, and then asked its cost, will be doubly pleasantly surprised to learn that this is not a foreign car, but a solid domestic car. Moreover, in addition to scheduled repairs and maintenance, the purchase of a Volga car includes a 6-year warranty on the body against through corrosion.
Even before the appearance of the iridescent shade in the color range of the Lada, there were no particular complaints about the quality of the paintwork; the coating has indeed become much more resistant to external influences, strong and durable. Most of the reviews regarding the announcement of the new shade of Vesta indicate that the owners believe that the chameleon will be no worse than the main colors. And they are fully confirmed by operating experience and the opinions of real Lada car owners.
As for service, it is traditionally at its best: in an authorized service center, subject to the established frequency of visits, they will diagnose and replace faulty parts free of charge, and recommend a choice of analogues.
The equipment, even in the basic version, also pleases the domestic car enthusiast who is not spoiled by delights: headrests, convenient controls, ergonomics of the driver’s panel, and the overall level of comfort.
All that remains is to add to this solid engine characteristics, the ability to choose options with an automatic or manual transmission, painting with a special composition that changes shades, and the portrait of a reliable, modern, exceptionally beautiful car is ready.
↑ Painting technology
The new, unique technology for creating a coating with a changing color pattern does not in any way affect the technical characteristics and engine power of the car, and should not disappoint the owner - regardless of whether this is his first car from the Lada Vesta SV Cross model range in phantom color or he has already had use products of the Volga auto concern.
According to the statements of the few close to the secrets of this solution, its main advantage should be considered improved preparation of metal body parts for painting - cleaning and priming. To say that this fact does not in any way affect the durability of the paintwork means to call into question the work of hundreds of people - engineers, designers and car assemblers.
New paint coating technology
The use of exclusive colors is not the only innovation of AvtoVAZ. To apply the paint, the company's specialists used a high-quality primer as a basis, which is applied to the car using innovative technologies that protect the car body from rust. As a result, consumers will receive a machine with a unique coating and increased wear resistance characteristics.
The only drawback of the unique chameleon-type coatings is the lack of simple color design in case of need for body repairs. If the car was damaged and received chips or scratches, then restoring the original surface will not cost the car owner cheap. In addition, everyone who expresses a desire to purchase a car with metallic paint will have to pay an additional 12 thousand rubles to the cost of the car.
Every buyer can decide on the color when buying a car by looking at different photo options of the Lada Vesta body on various Internet portals.
No sooner had the triumphant march of the updated Lada ended than information appeared about the release of the Vesta in phantom color. The new shade, completely different from others, caused a stir among ardent fans of Volga cars, as well as ordinary citizens. This article will tell you what it is, the color “ghost”, how resistant to abrasion and how durable it is.
What kind of body does the Lada Vesta and Lada XRAY have: galvanized or non-galvanized?
It would seem that everything possible has been written about the new Lada cars – Vesta and XRAY. But nevertheless, every day more and more questions about these cars appear on the Internet, both from those who still want to buy a new Lada, and from those who have already become the proud owner of a new domestic car. What do you think interests car enthusiasts most about the new Ladas? Especially in the new Lada Vesta. Do new cars rot quickly? After all, the main problem of our automobile industry has always been associated primarily with rapid corrosion of the body. It is not surprising that many people are concerned about whether the bodies of new AvtoVAZ cars meet modern corrosion protection standards. We'll talk about this today.
Photo of Vesta SV Cross in phantom color
Does it look interesting? Undoubtedly. This one goes especially well with the black plastic body kit inherent in the crossover version of the station wagon; it doesn’t get lost like, for example, on black. It is also noteworthy that no other manufacturer offers similar colors for their models, at least in the budget segment. However, if you really like the chameleon color, then you can cover your car with a special film, which can be of absolutely any color, but it’s really not that cheap, and its service life is much shorter than regular paintwork, which, by the way, is quite good on Vesta , and on the Cross version it is also additionally protected in some places by plastic.

Topic: Lada Vesta “Phantom”
Logan was in its fourth year. TO-60 was inevitably approaching (the officials had almost 30 thousand - and with the prospect of a growth in the currency even more) and all other expenses associated with the age of the car. So the idea arose - until it started (c) - to exchange the car for a new one. And another three years of warranty. Initially I thought about the same “Logan” phase 2, that is, in an old body with automatic transmission, ABS, passenger airbag and air conditioning. Our Chelyabinsk Saturn had two suitable cars. The dealer stuck into them carpets, a radio and a Sherkhan alarm system, dearly loved by swindlers because it can be opened almost with the TV remote control. Total – 570 thousand with all discounts. Looking ahead, I’ll say that taking into account the 40 thousand trade-in discount, Vesta (“Comfort” on AMT) cost me 540 thousand. Since Saturn began selling LADA this year, my wife and I went thoughtfully into the next building. Initially, taking into account all the New Year's discounts, we were thinking about a “Grant” with an automatic transmission. However, only “standards” were available without passenger PB. When I sat down, I became completely sad. And then manager Manvel noticed our interest in the Vesta standing in the showroom. Since there was a hole in the test drive schedule, the opportunity arose to ride a luxury car with AMT. And we did take a ride, and we liked it. I note that Manvel (unlike many car dealership managers) talked about the car to the point, including from the technical side. And again we rode normally - on roads of different quality, twisted in turns on an overpass, with the wheels of one side on the snowy side of the road, and the other on the asphalt - and even on potholes. So it was possible to get an idea of the car, and it was in favor of Vesta compared to Logan - in terms of equipment, interior space and handling. Well, everyone was talking about controllability, I won’t spoil it. I will only say that “Vesta” is not critical, but still noticeably tougher than “Logan”. However, everything is compensated by better steering and a feeling of noticeably greater stability on the track. The manager emphasized that the 92nd was filled in - to show how well the car drives on it. Well, who knows, maybe it’s 90 – how do you check)) One way or another, I started filling myself with 95. On the highway, depending on the slope, consumption jumped from 5.9 to 7.5 liters in fifth at 80-100 km/h (the engine is running in!). When I roll out the 95, I’ll fill up with the 92 and compare. I’m still getting used to the electric booster – just like I once did to the Renault hydraulic booster after Nissan’s electric power steering. It seems as light as Logan’s power steering seemed heavy four years ago. Just the day before, in the cold, I changed the lamp in the Logan headlight. I don’t know about other models, but cars with a 16-valve engine, automatic transmission and air conditioning have such a layout that you can’t turn on the left headlight without skinned hands. A rare dirty design: not only that, the battery must be removed, but the wiring harness is laid out in such a way that it first makes it difficult to remove the rubber casing from the lamp, and then put it back on. It seems like a small thing, but the ease of replacing lamps in Vesta’s headlights was another drop in its favor. In general, after the announcement of the discontinuation of the Logan in the old body in Moscow and the appearance of a certain amount, the decision was somehow hastily made. Now I’m surprised by this, but what’s done is done)))

Re: Lada Vesta “Phantom”
Vesta and rubber products
Everyone has already written that frame wipers coming from the factory are worse than nothing. At least for winter. In general, I removed these rubber products and changed the driver’s brush to a Japanese winter Lynx 60 cm, and the passenger’s to a 45 cm winter ALCA. They have been criticized lately, but on the last car they performed well - if 60 cm Alki were on sale, I would have taken a second one from the same company, they are noticeably cheaper.
I placed the order on January 3rd, they were delivered on the 5th, I came to receive and pay on the sixth. However, during the journey they managed to grow - along with the dollar and the price of the trunk mat ordered at the same time. By bank transfer they demanded a new price, and in cash for some reason the original price. I had cash, took it at the original price. I installed it this morning - a completely different story! The trunk mat from Agatek cost 1,092 rubles, which is much cheaper than the branded one.
The corporate one looks like this:
But the sides, it seems, of both are significantly lower than those of the Logan ones from the Confort dealer package. When transporting something that spills or all sorts of country things, this can lead to sadness.

Re: Lada Vesta “Phantom”
The first glitch, or this didn’t happen with GVC!
Today we decided to go to the New Year's performance with our youngest. Snow snakes sweep along the roads, where, of course, there is no dirty snow porridge - the new holder of the municipal contract for cleaning Chelyabinsk roads keeps the mark. At the same time, it is quite slippery in places; during a week of cold weather, the coating froze. The stability control system was activated several times, and the indicator on the panel came on. The car periodically “drove”, but at the same time there was a pleasant feeling that it retained controllability and remained under control. On the way, we have a habit of turning on, if not music, then some kind of audiobook - because otherwise you’ll be too tired to carry on a conversation. And so we got there under “Captain Blood’s Odyssey”, and back... and getting back is a mess! Because the audio system (I remind you that on “Comfort” it is not touch-sensitive) refused to turn on. Since wiping the headlights and kicking the wheels while driving is problematic, at a traffic light I turned off the engine and turned it on again - what if? No way! Nearby, the guys from the Merc beeped, showed thumbs, smiled - they say, the Vesta is good! I look at them, smile, nod, and I think: is it better to call the personal manager or first check the fuse through which power goes to the radio? I remember the line of the instructions where it says - make sure, they say, by turning on the audio - is the temperature in the cabin normal? I remember that neither the two-din Chinese “Mystery” that I plugged into the old right-hand drive, nor Logan’s JVC had such a ...censored... one. Including minus thirty. In general, when I arrived home, I unbent a paper clip and, with the ignition on, stuck it in and held it in the reset slot for five seconds. And, as Cat Matroskin said, it worked! Just in case, I threw a paperclip into the cup holder - on our car you can’t do without a tool (just kidding).

Re: Lada Vesta “Phantom”
Vesta-“chameleon”
"One of the paints we'll really be using is the color changeable chameleon" Steve Mattin
The bottom line is that depending on the viewing angle and lighting, the shade changes.
Here is my “Phantom” and this same “chameleon”. Because there were two more options - “Angkor” (brown) and “Die with a rag” (black). I wanted one so that our Chelyabinsk dirt and dust would be minimally noticeable on the car. Brown, upon closer examination, turned out to be really quite good - much more noble than the colors that Dusters are painted in. But I have already reserved the Phantom.
It’s still not possible to take photographs in good sunlight; our sun was “turned off” before the New Year)))

Phantom for Vesta: the new LADA has a color with a changing shade
The chief designer of LADA shared his plans for the colors of the new AVTOVAZ model.
These days in Italy, in Tuscany, a test drive of the Lada Vesta sedan is taking place. Before the cars were handed over to journalists, a briefing was held, where the speaker was the chief designer of LADA, Steve Mattin. In his presentation, he talked about the history of the new brand DNA, and how work on the new design progressed. Among other things, Mattin focused on promising AVTOVAZ cars, namely the colors for the Lada Vesta.
According to the chief designer, the plant is exploring the possibility of producing LADA Vesta with a variable shade. Specifically, Mattin said, “One of the paints that we will actually use is a color changeable chameleon.” The color will change its shades depending on the viewing angle.
According to the Official Lada Club’s own information, more than 10 production LADA Vesta cars have already been painted in the “Phantom” color at the LADA Izhevsk plant. In total, at the moment, Vesta will have 10 different body colors.
When using the material (in whole or in part), an active link to the Lada Vesta Club website (www.ladavesta.net) is required!

Of the entire range of colors, only one is represented by the usual two-layer enamel - glacial, the rest are so-called metallic. Each paint has its own individual code, indicating a specific place in the color palette. Representatives of AvtoVAZ have repeatedly stated about a possible increase in the variety of colors and shades. At the moment, Lada Vesta is available for sale in ten colors. Lada Vesta body colors:

When choosing each of them, you can choose the option you like best. Photos of the Lada Vesta body color clearly demonstrate how the sedan will look in different colors.
Colors of Lada Vesta sedan When choosing a specific color coating, you should take into account its cost. Paint code 221 is offered free of charge. Lime looks the most unique and unlike other colors, so choosing it will cost the buyer 35 thousand rubles. This considerable amount is justified - such a car is impossible not to notice in a stream of other vehicles. For other metallized coatings you will have to pay another 12 thousand rubles to the total price of the car. When choosing paint on the AvtoVAZ website, photos in different colors change, which makes it easier to find a suitable option.
Phantom
The name of the coating speaks for itself - a smoky blue with a metallic sheen captivates with its twilight beauty. This category of paint goes well with the business-like appearance of the car. The phantom color can be chosen by both a respectable person and a representative of the youth.
