The ground clearance of the Lada Vesta is designed taking into account the characteristics of domestic roads and is stated in the documents as 171 mm. The instructions for the car say that if the vehicle is fully loaded, the ground clearance of the car from the bottom of the crankcase to the ground is 171 mm, and the minimum ground clearance from the ground to the engine mudguard is 144 mm. Without loading, the ground clearance under the lower point of the crankcase increases to 190 mm, and from the ground to the overhang of the bumper - 230 mm. The indicated parameters are valid for models equipped with wheels that are officially recommended by AvtoVAZ, this is ̶ 185/50 R15 (16). Therefore, you need to be prepared for the fact that when replacing wheels with higher or lower ones, these indicators will change.

The size of the wheels, and therefore the ground clearance, greatly influences the driving performance of the car. Therefore, depending on where and how the car is intended to be used, with the help of the correct selection of tires and rims, you can select the optimal characteristics of the car.

City residents who often drive fast and on well-paved roads are more suitable for low-profile tires and standard wheels. And for residents of the periphery, with their dirt roads and rough terrain, wheels consisting of larger diameter discs and high-profile tires are more suitable.
