  5. Next, you need to remove the rubber safety plugs from the new filter. Pull off the hose that is closest to the tank and plug it with a prepared wooden plug. Place a rubber plug on the inlet channel of the old filter. No matter how hard you try, gasoline remains in the fuel channel. Why should they wet themselves?
  6. Now you can pull off the second hose and plug the filter with another cap. The filter element removed from the bracket will not spill its contents onto you.

Sometimes the filter hanger becomes unsuitable for further use. It can be replaced with a simple aluminum clamp, just like on hoses.

It is advisable to assemble the fuel line in the reverse order. Changing the stages is not critical, it’s better to just connect the assembled empty channel to the gas tank last, you’ll get less wet.

1. Under the hood, find a “glass” with 4 hoses connected to it.

2. The sump cover is fixed with 5 bolts; they should be unscrewed, after placing a rag under the part, which will collect the spilled fuel. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry it at the intended location. We move the lid a little to the side so that it does not interfere with further work.

3. Remove the dirty filter from the glass. We immediately place a container under it into which the remaining fuel will drain.

4. Using a thin tube, pump everything out of the sump and wipe it dry with a rag so that nothing unnecessary remains in it. Pour 200 ml of fuel into the cleaned body.
