Under such circumstances, you need to carefully separate the brushes or straighten their mounting arms.
Wiring test for non-working brake lights (ground test)
Let's look at the basic diagram: the brake lights and reverse lamps have a common ground pin. If the contact with this pin is broken, the reverse lamps will not turn on. Well, brake lights too.
Connector for interior lights
On the left side there is a connector through which the wiring goes to the fifth door. The connector has black and reddish wires. Check the voltages on them. In most cases, the ground on the black wire does not ring. But it may be necessary to clean the connector itself.
If the plus does not come to the reddish wire, we check the frog. It's simple here:
- Disconnect the connector with 2 wires from the limit switch;
- Using seventeen wrenches, loosen the two nuts: holding the bottom nut, rotate the top one;
By the way, one of the connector terminals receives a voltage of twelve volts. Check it!
Mechanical problems
Often the windshield wiper on a VAZ-2110 may not work due to a loose nut pressing the blade holder. This fault can be repaired in a few seconds. It is enough to tighten a poorly tightened nut to restore the functionality of the wipers. Some events may indicate an unscrewed nut:
- When the electric motor is running, the brushes do not move.
- The brushes stop working on their own in an intermediate position.
Also, brush holders may stop due to poor contact pressure in the gearmotor. If the teeth on the gearmotor gear are crumbled, the brushes will also not work.
