The rest were put on a test bench.

Previously, the oil pressure was measured on the stand without a filter element in the filter housing. This was done so that the pressure drop introduced by a clean filter could be determined. Next, we measured the oil pressure with the participation of new and clean competitors. The oil was then contaminated with a mixture of metal powder, dust and thick organic matter. The amount of these substances was calculated based on the analysis of used oil.

Dirt was added to the oil in equal volumes at certain intervals so that the filter had time to strain it out, after which the oil pressure was measured each time.

To reduce the test time, they were completed somewhat earlier than the pressure behind the curtain dropped to a level sufficient to open the bypass valve.
