I found similar pictures for many cars, but I couldn’t find them for XRAY. In general, the trunk dimensions are not enough for station wagon-based crossovers, but +- they can compete with hatchbacks
from B and C class.
I didn’t measure all sorts of perverted values, such as the diagonal from the passenger’s feet to the rear window, although a three-meter beam diagonally fits into the car. As for the trunk opening, the cargo will fit in dimensions of 80 (in height) by 90 centimeters in width, although the opening itself is somewhat wider, something around 99 centimeters at its widest point. If you are interested in the height from the floor to the roof, then it is around 80-90 centimeters (with or without a raised floor). And if you fold the seat backs, there will be a space about 1.5 meters long; if you move the seats closer to the steering wheel, then a little more.
Roughly speaking, you can stuff a box measuring 1.5 x 0.8 x 0.9 meters into a car.
And for clarity, I attached a drawing with the main dimensions in mm and an accuracy of +- 10 mm. My measurements roughly agree with the data.

The tall hatchback in SUV style, as the Lada Xray is called in the company, is built on the basis of components of the B0 platform . The overall length of the Lada Xray is 4,165 mm, the width (along the rear wheel arches) is 1,764 mm, the height when unladen* and without roof rails is 1,570 mm. Wheelbase length – 2,592 mm.

Suspension
The suspension dimensions of the Lada Xray model are slightly smaller than those of its analogue, the Renault Sandrero. Of course, such a difference does not make any significant difference in cross-country ability, as well as in handling, but visually it is a noticeable difference, especially when looking at the wheel arches.
The width between the front wheels of the domestic crossover is slightly smaller than the width between the rear wheels. This arrangement of wheels was made specifically to improve the SUV's cross-country ability in mud and marshy areas. The size of the front track of the car is 1482 mm, and the rear one is 1513 mm. If we compare these dimensions with the Renault crossover, its front track measures 1560 mm, and the rear track measures 1567 mm.

The distance between the front and rear axles (wheelbase) of the Lada X-Ray model is also slightly smaller than that of its analogue and is equal to 2592 mm. On the Sandero, the wheelbase is slightly larger - 2673 mm.
As for ground clearance, the Lada Xray is also slightly inferior to Renault. The ground clearance of the domestic SUV is 195 mm. This ground clearance is quite sufficient for good off-road performance, and also greatly affects the appearance of the car, bringing it as close as possible to the urban type. But the Sandero has a slightly higher ground clearance - 210 mm, and in the city this car looks a little out of place.
Lada Xray Cross
LADA XRAY will be offered only with front-wheel drive ; in 2022, the all-wheel drive XRAY Cross 4x4, with similar technical characteristics, was supposed to go on sale, but later AvtoVAZ decided to abandon the all-wheel drive modification. As was already known, the front-wheel drive version of the Lada X Ray 2022, which has a Renault Sandero platform and a hatchback body, will be released first. - Dastun mi-DO. The car belongs to the class of tall hatchbacks and has an interesting appearance. Datsun is assembled in Tolyatti, the car has already won appreciation in Russia. The interior is well suited for Russian conditions, democratic, but tasteful. Ground clearance of 160 mm is enough to overcome unpleasant places. Engines
There is no information yet about the technical characteristics of the Lada X Ray, but there is information that the engine range will consist of a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 114 horsepower, as well as a 5-speed manual transmission. There may be other options in the future.
Initially, it was planned to begin production of cars at the end of 2015 - beginning of 2016, however, according to new data, the Lada Xray model will begin mass production in October next year. Production will be established at the enterprise's facilities in Tolyatti and Kazakhstan.

The interior dimensions will make the trip comfortable for 4 passengers. Two people will feel quite free in the back, but three people can sit in it. The dimensions of the space in front of the cabin allow the driver and front passenger to feel comfortable, regardless of height and weight.
Trunk size
For the average Russian car owner, the technical and aesthetic characteristics of the car are not so important as the characteristics of the trunk. The frequency of trips to the mother-in-law for natural products, combining them, supposedly with exclusively guest regular visits, directly depends on the size of the trunk or on how many bags of potatoes fit in it.
So, these volumetric dimensions of the trunk are as follows:
- 375 liters with normal (standard) vehicle equipment;
- 770 liters with the rear seatbacks folded down;

Dimensions of the car, including wheelbase
As for its length, if you take a measurement from the extreme points of the Lada xRay bumpers, the tape measure will show 416.4 cm. The Renault Sandero has exactly the same dimensions, which is not surprising, since they are made on the same platform.
Regarding the width, it is measured at the extreme points of the right and left mirrors that provide rear visibility, and it is equal to 198.3 cm. Moreover, if you fold the mirrors, then the wheel arches will become the extreme points, and the width of the body will become 176.4 cm.
By the way, about mirrors. Many Lada X-Ray owners, especially those who have previously driven a Renault Sandero, complain that the mirrors on our SUV, let’s say, do not provide sufficient rear view due to their small size.
Body
In terms of its size, the Lada X-Ray fully fits the category of European and other foreign crossovers.
For traveling in the city, among a large flow of cars, it has a fairly small body size. In length, from the front extreme point (front bumper) to the rear extreme point (rear bumper), the Lada Xray reaches 4315 mm. If you compare it with the Renault Sandero, with which, as mentioned earlier, the Lada X-Ray shares the same base, you can see that the length of both crossovers is absolutely the same.
The width of the domestic SUV, from the extreme left point (from the left side rear view mirror) to the right extreme point (to the right side rear view mirror), is 1980 mm. The height of the Lada Xray is also measured in two positions: with additional roof rails and without them. In the first position, the height of the car will be 1685 cm, which is approximately 200 mm higher than the height of the average sedan. Without roof rails, the body height is reduced to 1625 mm. Considering that the ground clearance of the Sandero and Lada X-Ray is almost the same, their height is also completely identical.
Cabin volume
The developers claim, and we can see with our own eyes, that the Lada X-Ray has the most spacious interior volume among cars of a similar class.
Indeed, the interior feels like it looks larger than it appears from the outside. Unfortunately, the volumetric parameters of the interior are usually not indicated in the technical description of the car, but the linear dimensions of the interior equipment of the Lada X Rey are available for review.
Moreover, the height of the cabin, measured from floor to ceiling at a maximum, is 122.0 cm. Its width, which is measured at the level of the shoulders of the driver and passengers, is the same for the entire length of the cabin - 133.0 cm.
But the distance between the backrests, which is measured in different positions of the front seats and in a stationary state of the rear seats, can be in the range from 60.0 to 81.5 cm, which is extremely small.
This is why there are numerous dissatisfaction in reviews that it is comfortable to sit in front, but not so much in the back, because there is nowhere to put your knees.
Salon
The quality of finishing here is at a high level. The plastic is hard, but fits well and does not creak. The covers are made of high-quality fabric with leatherette inserts. The steering wheel is thickened for a comfortable grip and covered with a leatherette cover.
The dashboard, made in a futuristic design, is compact and informative. The large display makes it easy to read information, and the air conditioner control panel is simple and clear.
The front seats have a wide range of adjustment, allowing you to sit comfortably no matter your height. However, if tall passengers are sitting in front, there will not be enough space in the back due to the backrests of the seats.
The sound insulation of the engine compartment is good, but when driving on crushed stone, the wheel arches transmit the impacts of stones.
Tire and wheel size
Lada X Ray is equipped with various types of wheels, ranging from budget stamped ones with sizes of both 15 and 16 inches, to luxury versions with light alloy or five-spoke cast 17-inch wheels.

In approximately the same, but abbreviated order, as our review of the Lada X-Ray based on dimensional characteristics was constructed, we will analyze both its advantages and its shortcomings, turning to the opinion of experts:
1. Body . The contours, like various embossings, are good only in an aesthetic sense, but our brother first admires them, and then spits, and together with the straighteners, when they have to repair their damage. Body sills do not have protection - the result is corrosion from the effects of gravel and salt, which our roads are often strewn with, and in abundance. 2. Trunk . Its volume seems to be decent, it can take a couple of bags of potatoes, but in the upper part it has a narrowed opening due to the lanterns. And because of this, the rear window has limited visibility when looking in the interior mirror;
3. Salon . It is only good for those sitting in front. But for the rear passengers, especially the outer ones, at least get out through the windows, or spread out on the doors to move your knees somewhere to the side. And one cup holder for three is not the case like Vysotsky’s: it was invented for three, supposedly, for a reason.
The list of both advantages and disadvantages can certainly be supplemented, but the main thing is that the shortcomings are promptly eliminated by the manufacturer, otherwise their critical mass may affect the demand from our brother.
