Knock in Lada Vesta suspension at 27,000 km

After a long drive on roads with potholes in a Lada Vesta, a knocking sound from the suspension appeared when the mileage approached 27,000 kilometers. It came from under the front right wheel. Drivers most often use this wheel under potholes. We have already noticed the knocking sound of the stabilizer struts. And this time the noise was not the same. To solve this problem, I had to urgently look for a service center of an official dealer of the Lada brand in Russia. In the case of our Lada Vesta sedan, the knocking came from the stabilizer bar. Let us remind you that we eliminated this problem at the beginning, since the sound was unusual. As a result, it turned out that the right stabilizer strut in the full sense of the word fell apart. Even if all the noise was coming from the right side, the left stabilizer link was also already approaching complete wear. After replacing the stabilizer struts, the knocking noise in the front suspension of the Lada Vesta remained. And then the fun began. The mechanics of the official website did not find the knocking problem and sent our copy of the Lada Vesta sedan to the technical control line. As a result, the mechanics completely probed the entire front suspension and found a loosened bolt of the front right arm. It can only be changed as an assembly with levers. And that's when the mechanics made a mistake. Over the next 12 thousand kilometers of bumpy roads on Russian roads, the bolt simply came out, causing the front arm to start knocking furiously. The pain of all Lada Vesta owners is the stabilizer struts.

The last three thousand kilometers before TO-2 Lada Vesta spent 7.3 liters of 92 gasoline per 100 kilometers, according to the on-board computer.
