The Zafira car is equipped with a large number of electrical and electronic components. The Opel Zafira B fuse box contains various fusible links and relays that ensure the functioning of vehicle systems. However, on different variations of this car the configuration of the block is different.

Where is the power supply and its electrical circuits located?
In the electrical circuit of the second generation Opel Zafira, two blocks are used to accommodate relays and fuses. The location of the main fuse box for the Opel Zafira B is under the hood. There is an additional second unit in the trunk. This block is located behind the decorative trim on the left side of the car.
Also, on all Zafira A, the fuse box is located in the instrument panel in the mounting block in the area of the driver’s left foot.

There are two blocks installed in the engine compartment - the main and additional ones. Below is the location of the engine compartment blocks in the Zafira.

The additional unit contains fuse links to protect the vehicle's most current-loaded circuits.

There are no fuses in the instrument panel of the Opel Zafira B; this arrangement was typical for the first generation Zafira, which was produced until 2004. On such cars, fuse blocks similar to the Opel Astra G were used.

Replacing fuses
If any components of the vehicle's electrical circuit fail, it is necessary to check the fuse blocks of the Opel Zafira. A failed fuse, for example a cigarette lighter, must be removed from its socket. When replacing, you must install a fuse of the same rating. For a short time, you can use a fuse of a higher rating, but only after checking the operation of the circuit with a rated fuse link temporarily taken from another socket. If the new fuse immediately burns out, then you need to look for the cause of the short circuit in the circuit.
You can check the serviceability of the fuse with a test lamp. This work can be done on any car, for example, a 2012 Zafira. A video of such a check from the Auto World channel is presented below.
Under the hood
The replacement procedure is as follows:
- Turn off the ignition.
- Open the block cover. To do this, you need to push the slotted screwdriver into the groove of the latch and bend it to the side.
- The pliers and spare fuses are located in the trunk block.
- Identify the failed fuse using the diagram and the non-working electrical circuit. It can also be identified by its appearance - it will darken and the burnt thread will be visible.
- Remove the faulty fuse link and replace it with a new one.
- Check the functionality of the circuit.
- If re-burnout does not occur, then place the tongs in their original place and replace the lid.

Pliers for removing the fuse from the socket
In the cabin
On a car made in 2002, 2003 and other years of production of the first generation Zafira, you must:
- Turn off the ignition.
- Fold back the glove box and, pressing the side clips, remove it.
- Remove the housing secured with slotted screws (4 pcs.).
- Grasp the protrusion at the bottom of the mounting block and pull it out. On the back of the unit there is a plate with pictograms indicating the purpose of the fuses and relays.
- Remove the pliers, identify the burnt-out insert, for example, the one responsible for the operation of the rear lights, and replace it. Spare fuses are in the block.
- Check electrical operation.
- Put everything back together.
The video (by user Jacob Wiederker) clearly shows the fuse box of the 2001 Zafira.
In the trunk
The process of replacing fuses in the trunk block is almost the same as replacing inserts under the hood.
Algorithm of actions:
- Turn off the ignition.
- Open the back door.
- Find the cover on the driver's side trim.
- Press the two latches and remove it.
- Identify the failed part.
- Remove the pliers located in the block and replace the fuse.
- Check the electrical circuit.
- Place the tongs in place.
- Close the lid.
Engine compartment
There are 2 separate boxes under the hood: one with fuses and one with relays.
The current block diagram is printed on the protective cover.

Fuses for Opel Zafira B
Buying opel zafira ii: awesome idea
Any car is equipped with fuse blocks that contain small fuse links.
It is these small devices that are responsible for protecting the entire electrical system of the Opel Zafira b from possible overloads. Every car owner is required to know their location. Suddenly you need to determine the breakdown in the event of a vehicle failure.
The German manufacturer's Opel Zafira B differs from its previous series by including more electrical components and assemblies.
Mounting safety blocks contain numerous fusible protective links and relays that ensure reliable operation and control of the vehicle. It is worth noting that the installation diagram of safety elements may vary depending on the year of manufacture of a given model.
Block installation locations
The Opel Zafira differs from other cars in that it does not have a pronounced interior and trunk; the car is a minivan, the rear of which transforms from a cargo compartment to a passenger compartment. Therefore, when they say that the module is located in the cabin, this misleads many.
You immediately start looking for the interior unit on the dashboard (like the Astra and Vectra), but it’s not there. So, the Opel Zafira B series model is equipped with two blocks, one of which is located in the engine compartment under the hood of the car, and the second is on the side facing panel in the luggage compartment on the driver’s side.
Some second-generation Zafira cars have an additional third module hidden in the decorative trim of the trunk, but this depends on the year of manufacture of the car.
Interior and design
No matter what anyone says, the car must be beautiful or at least attractive. The Opel Corsa, as already stated above, looks good, but what can we say about the interior? One thing is worth saying with confidence: it is worthy of special attention. The automaker offers customers a huge selection of different trim options. The spacious and wide cabin has a large number of different compartments designed to store small items and things inside. Very unusual and quite spectacular design techniques were used in the interior. These include, for example, levers located on the dashboard, or original transparent buttons. The seats, by the way, are very comfortable and convenient - a person, while driving an Opel Corsa, feels at one with his car
And this is very important, because many people spend most of their time on the road
