A successful new AvtoVAZ product for the 2019-2020 model year could be the company’s mini-crossover under the designation XCODE. The Lada Van remains the most long-awaited. The company plans to complete work on its creation by the end of next year, so mass production will begin no earlier than mid-2022.

Niva will undergo another restyling. Lada 4×4 NG will hit the market. Most likely, the long-awaited event will happen in 2022.

The restyled, or more precisely the facelifted, version of the 2019 Largus will have a design in the style of the Vesta and Xray models. Therefore, the updated version will change the shape of the headlights, wings, front bumper, and radiator grille. There are few changes in the interior; they will only affect the use of more anti-wear fabric upholstery and the use of additional sound-absorbing inserts.

Largus will continue to retain five and seven-seat configurations, as well as the currently installed power units. Such small changes are due to the fact that the company considers the model to be quite successful and therefore does not require deep modernization.

The new compact car is the company's light commercial vehicle, the production of which will be launched in 2022.

In the AvtoVAZ model range, the Van should become an addition to the Largus car. The new product is based on the Renault Dokker heel design, but the appearance will match the company's existing X-shaped style.

The technical characteristics of the vehicle will be almost identical to the Dokker, but the main advantage of the domestic truck will be a lower price due to the use of Russian-made materials and components.

Non-warranty paint defects

AvtoVAZ gives a 6-year warranty on body parts against through corrosion. This period starts from the date of purchase of the car by the first owner.

The following defects are not considered a warranty case:

• significant difference in the thickness of the Lada Vesta paintwork;
• the presence of so-called saffron milk caps on body elements;
• corrosion of metal in places where chips form;
• peeling varnish;

The dealer may not recognize the paint defect of the Lada Vesta as a warranty if the owner did not promptly carry out control and inspection work on the condition of the anti-corrosion coating of the body and there are no marks about this in the “Service Book” coupon.
