Often, manufacturers do not risk making major changes when restyling popular models. As a rule, the matter is limited to some overlays on the body, an almost imperceptible increase in headlights or slightly different bumpers. But Ford specialists decided to take a risk and the Ford Focus, which was restyled in 2007, only resembles its predecessor in general forms. Almost all body parts, with the exception of the roof, have been changed. The hatchback version has a completely new hood, fenders, headlights, bumpers and mirrors. The sedan has undergone changes, mainly in the front. The rear of the Ford Focus II differs from its predecessor only in modified headlights and bumpers. For example, a visor over the rear window helps improve the aerodynamic properties of the car by optimizing air flow.
